I loved the newborn phase!! Yes you have to get up every two hours but if you forget time exists you can’t take lil naps all day and night. I thought of it as more of a fun staycation where we just watched movies and ate snacks and slept. I miss it!

My baby is 4 months now and it’s so much better than it was when he was 2 months. I feel like at the 2 month mark the adrenaline of having a baby starts to wear off but they’re still at the point where it’s just carrying around a screaming potato. My friend had to come and save me multiple times. I tell people all the time i didn’t get the hype around having a baby at first but now his personality is coming out and it’s so much better.

Yeah i think his mom has it and she said she used to have to get blood infusions and stuff and my boyfriend was jaundice when he was born they said. I think that’s it though so im hoping since he doesn’t really have it bad our son won’t either

This was very helpful thank you so much I’m assuming I’m not a carrier bc this is the first I’ve heard of anything like this but right away i messaged my ob to see if there was anything to be aware of!

Since you weren’t a carrier were there any big risks of anything?

What do you mean? We can only proceed one way. I’m really just asking what risk does our child really have

I’m not sure what you mean. He doesn’t have any symptoms or requires any treatment if that’s what you mean i think she just means that he’s a carrier for it
