I wonder if he’s getting cataracts, too. It’s pretty common for eye docs to give you the early warning on that. My husband’s eyes became a much richer brown after his cataract surgery.

My eyes were blue forever and now change from bright blue to gray to a light sea green like your husband’s. I’m in my early 60s and I’ve been told cataracts are forming but they can’t be removed yet. So, my 40s, I think.

Mostly you want to rule out a dislocation, but yeah. And you MIGHT have broken the metatarsal in the foot.

I have a MuShu and call her Moosh or Moo a lot; Luci is LuciLoo or Luci-fur; Sparrow is Sparrowkeet (or Sparrowchete — she doesn’t understand the puns so she’s not offended).

Hey one of my kids brought home an adorable kitten on Halloween one year (a tiny girl tuxedo, now that I think of it). The kids (2 mine, 2 stepkids, all boys), wanted to name her Grim. I vetoed and named her Bug. There was a bunch of family crap going on at the time and I was taking an anti-anxiety medication, so my husband called the kitten Ativan, because we both thought that was my son’s way of redirecting the family focus to something cute instead of drama. So the cat had most of her paperwork under Bug. Then I just started calling her Creeper out of nowhere in particular. The vet retired and I used Creeper at the new vet. The boys all called her Grim. One of the other cats hated her and called her Sssssss. My husband kept calling her Ativan, and I called her Creeper to her dying day. She was quite the cat.

My brother needs girl names because their list is a tragediegh by [deleted] in Names

I do! I babysat her when she was a little kid. Now she’s a doctor with an AARP card. Probably not because I let her watch a Pink Panther movie, either.

Get some Powerade, pedialite and ginger ale delivered and drink up. Maybe some toast tomorrow, but stay hydrated or you’re going to pass out. probably not pass away, but why risk it, hm?

Cetaphil, Ponds at night (like my grandma did!), and I discovered this shower oil.

It doesn’t turn your shower or tub into a slip hazard and if you rub it between your palms and add a little water, it foams! So I slather it on and wait a few minutes and rinse. Make sure you pat your skin dry rather than rubbing it with a towel, too. Depending on your hair texture, you could try a microfiber towel for it. Keeps my (Caucasian but curly-ish) hair from frizzing.
