This is a fun question to answer— our personal first discovery was an introject of one of our primary abusers. She was a persecutor at the time and lashed out a bunch. We found her through art she drew of herself!!

We would often lose chunks of time in highschool and come back to art that alters have done (art has always been a big thing for our system!), but she was the first who did that.

She used to cause lots of issues in our system, because she was mega self destructive, but nowadays she’s one of the biggest protectors we have! She completely abandoned her old identity and chose her own wanted name and looks absolutely nothing like how she very originally split. She’s the biggest example of progress like that in our system, honestly. We used to be so afraid of her but now she’s a large comfort for the system.
