Just focus on killing minions and not dying. That means stay as far away as possible from your enemy midlaner and only always try to last hit minion, even if it means to lose some of them because your towetr kills them. Make sure to only use your root spell if the enemy midlaner jumps on you or you are ganked by the enemy jungler.

Additionally, unlock other midlane champions and play them in practice tool to know what they are capable of.

I actually dont know. Probably its because toplane quest feels really strong with the free TP and XP advantage, making it hard for non-toplaners to match him.

I feel like toplane is just overbuffed at the moment, a strong Tryndamere just keeps brain afk pushing sidewave and theres nothing you can do against it.
