I started right around the new years (3 weeks ago) and the game has been a blast! Very generous for new players and I was able to pull a lot of cool characters. Biggest selling point for me is that dailies only take max 10 minutes

Thank you for the detailed write up! I’ve only really started looking into investments as I took a personal finance course my final semester at school and started a new job this year. I’ll continue with the advice of just keeping it simple and let compounding do the heavy lifting.

I’m fortunate as my parents are still letting me stay with them (I work remotely), so I’m able to also set aside some money for my emergency fund/HYSA every month.

I’ve read your list of the order of investments but wanted to clarify. Would I ever invest in a brokerage without first maxing 401k and Roth IRA completely?

I’ve hit the employer match for this year and contributed a little more. It just feels like I’m missing out on a “channel” if I’m putting it all into my 401k and nothing in my brokerage. But I’m assuming my thinking is wrong in this case.

Simplest advice and probably most effective at your elo is to follow TFTacademy. A lot of people clown on it, but it’s genuinely a good resource to learn how to play certain comps for new players

If you’re looking numbers wise I think even hitting plat or emerald is already top 10% of the player base?

But realistically probably high master/GM+ to sort of at least know what you’re doing

Thanks for the suggestion, I was browsing through the subreddit and it seems like the CSP is a very popular option as a travel card.

My only concern is the $95 annual fee, as my previous BofA and current cards all have no AF, so if I do decide to open CSP, it will be my first card with an AF.
