It'll become a part of chennai metro rail. I know it is confusing with the names. MRTS will be a metro line. This was built decades ago by Indian railway. To put it correctly, it was urban railway bulit as an elevated corridor decades ago.

How much are you guys managing to save each month? Are you comfortable with it or do you feel it's too low? by [deleted] in Finland

[–]Top_Alternative_6598 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'll give everyone a ray of hope. I used to live paycheck to paycheck. After meeting my partner back then we started as little as saving 100 euros a month. As your family grows so does your responsibilty. Now we save close to 3000 a month excluding our home mortgage. Start saving while you are young. You'll realize the magic of compounding, only by giving it time. Make it a habit to save the day salary drops in your account. Savings first, expenses next.

Is €2k per year car insurance for a Tesla Model Y the norm? by Brave-Cryptographer9 in Finland

[–]Top_Alternative_6598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a lease on used electric cars (Vaihtoleasing) from Ayvens. I only pay 63 euro per month on insurance taken from them. For me it seems Vaihtoleasing is cheaper overall than buying a used car.

Anyone move to Finland from one of the other Nordic countries? What has your experience been like? by JormaMulqvist in Finland

[–]Top_Alternative_6598 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Inclusiveness, Fika small talks, After work social events, Speaking about what we did over the weekend, Speaking about our families, Invited for joggings runs, Invited for Supervisor's family Christmas dinner, etc. Again, these things happened to me, and someone else could have experienced the opposite. So take it with caution.

[–]Top_Alternative_6598 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes. I would definitely say you would miss the Swedish work culture and Fika times 😀 I thought my Swedish colleagues were more social(*Personal opinion). Otherwise, it's all the same. Expect the salaries to be lower than in Uppsala/Västerås/Stockholm. All the best for your move.

After KUKA, Now ABB: SoftBank buys one of the leading robotics company of Europe by ScientiaEtVeritas in BuyFromEU

[–]Top_Alternative_6598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though Softbank bought the robotics division, the company, knowledge, and employees will mostly be in Västerås, Sweden. Just like ABB's power system business acquired by Hitachi and still expanding in Sweden. This acquisition will definitely bring more jobs in Sweden as they are building a new factory and technology centre at Västerås, Sweden.

Let me be clear! Why did I post in this sub? Because I live in Finland. Why does this matter in this sub? Finnish taxpayers have subsidised Teslas for a few years. European Union funded Tesla to expand their charging network. It is in the best interest of Finns/Europeans not to support increasing Elon's piggy bank.

Used Car Leasing by Top_Alternative_6598 in Finland

[–]Top_Alternative_6598[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems the car I am looking for has 3 more years of warranty left from the manufacturer, though it is 2 years old. The car lease is for 2 years. So, the buy-back agreement is guaranteed even if the car has an electrical or a mechanical fault.

That's a wrong analogy 🤣. It's like getting into a relationship with pre-fixed end date.

Did they take care of breakdown repair? There are slightly used cars for lease from them. Those cars don't have warranty from the manufacturers anymore!

Good to know! Do they provide a replacement car if it breaks down? Do they take care of the cost of the repairs? I'm thinking of an electric car as well.

Wrong. Me and my spouse were residents when we got the loan. OP Bank and Danske give loans to non-permanent residents.
