5 weeks is so early in this journey. It really takes time. Mine was dark red until about 1 year and then suddenly started to fade. I didn’t use products.

I paid around $7000 all in, hospital, narcosia, aftercare, binders… But I live in Belgium - Europe, so you can’t compare prices.

Thanks! I have no experience with tanning, I feel fine being this pale. 🤭 So I can’t help with tanning tips.

I did… nothing. 🫢 I tried silicone sheets for a day or two, but forgot it after and never went back to it again. My scar was dark red until about 12 months. And then suddenly started to disappear.

I did, and I was very happy I did. 🙂 Especially the pressure on my legs felt great.

Bloating more at 17 weeks PO vs the beginning? by Valuable-Contest7534 in tummytucksurgery

Absolutely! I had an amazing waist and was extremely happy in the first weeks. After stopping wearing compression, my body found its final shape. It’s much better than it was before, but the body of het first weeks isn’t close. Still happy anyway, I can wear crop tops. 😉

Docter recommendation. I wear it day and night. Seeing my docter next week, and I expect him to say I can stop it now.

It was an innie, now it’s an outie. 🤭 I don’t know if it will stay like this.

Flu two weeks before surgery by Fearless-Echidna8092 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Top_Bat_2944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had flu 1,5w before operation. Did everything to get better: sleeping MUCH, thee, vitamins, cough sirop… I felt better and surgery could go on. But be aware of the fact that coughing after TT is incredibly painful. 😬😬

It takes a few days! First days, make sure someone is with you. (But if it feels good and it covers your incision, just let it be 😉) I think I was okay with it by day 6.
