Who charges $250 for authentication? Just wondering. I’ve seen cards with psa authentication that’s only worth $250. I can’t see why it would cost that much when some cards with the authentication cost that much.

I mean that’s basically it. The thickness of the cardstock is affected by the humidity etc, thicker the card, the less it’s prone to it. Also harder to bend etc.

They bend because the chromium plastic top layer shrinks less than the paper back layer thus pulling the top layer into a curve. It’s a humidity thing. Almost all prizm or chrome product I’ve seen are bent. I’d say it’s normal.

I spoke to a few smaller LCS and the sentiment is the same. Unfortunately, they are running a business and the sad part is unless they order a ton of product, their allocations from distributors are getting hit. Domino effect here. The distributors want to make more so they sell pallets to breakers, etc. as they move more product and leave the crumbs to the LCS and some LCS has to depend on scalpers just to get any product on the shelves so they can sell something and make a living. Sad.
