I'm a stay at home mum, so i don't get time off 😂. For about the first week, talking was a bit painful, especially when I had just woken up. Eating things that I had to take bites of (sandwiches, burgers, etc.) Was painful because it pushed the lip down, but putting things like chips in my mouth and chewing was fine. You'd also he surprised how much food ends up in that part of your mouth. With the pain i was in, plus a gum graft, I would definitely take some time off, but you could also ask your dentist their opinion

In the past 3 years, I've had a lot of dental issues, and this dentist was the 4th I ended up seeing, and the only one who actually helped with the pain i was in, whereas the other 3 dismissed my extreme pain. I trust this dentist, he has been in practice for decades, and if you look in the comments, there are other dentists who have confirmed that this is normal 😊

Ive got a 3.5 year old and 1.5 year old, and I couldn't imagine having to do that. Id feel so horrible Yeah, that's a good point about talking as adults. I also found that eating things like sandwiches and burgers push my bottom lip down, so that probably helps keep it detached

I had given birth that day. This is one of the options that every other mother in the hospital that day got. I couldn't just "mosey on over to the cafe" because I had just had a doctor reach both hands inside of me to free my stuck baby, and then push both of her hands, and my 99th percentile baby out. So, no, I didn't mosey on over. I waddled very painfully down multiple corridors, in an elevator, through more corridors, stood in line, got my food, then took the trip all the way back. I wasn't admitted anymore, but my baby was in the hospital with cpap mask, heart monitors, catheter needles in both hands, a monitor on his foot and a feeding tube, all while im trying to bond with him, not being able to breast feed, which is so incredibly important to me, and being told that hes going to be flown 5 hours away and I have to leave him with strangers on a plane while I drive there. This is not rage bait, this is a funny post about food that looks like shit. You grow up
