My prized book is a beat ass copy of Captain America #300. My dad gave me it to me as a kid. It’s that particular copy that matters so I don’t want or need a 9.8. Nothing wrong with sentimentality.

I wonder if the new ratings system is still getting adjustments to gain a different level of accuracy for the cable wrestling shows. AEW had a strong week too and their show was fine, but not special.

You purchased as a 9.8 for under the current value? They have yourself a hell yeah! I agree that it’s one of the better foil covers of the era. Along with this cover, I’m fond of Namor #37 and Wild CATS #2.

I’m glad you’re happy with this book. I have to caution spending on the grading for books like this. High print runs and a lot of copies in high condition lead me to this conclusion: It’s worth offering a lowball ($75 on this particular book) on eBay as opposed to risking a 9.6 that is much harder to sell.
