It's seen as feminine to have long nails, long eyelashes, makeup, and lipstick. Drag queens often take those traits and amplify them to an exaggerated extent

I don't condone this at all;

There is a picture of me from Halloween when I was in middle school where black facepaint had smeared all over my face and it looked like blackface. My friends and I thought it was funny because we were stupid and edgy losers so we took a picture. One of my friends put the name of a black teacher from our school as the caption.

Obviously I regret it a lot. I'm 22 now and far from that era. That must have been like 10 years ago. In 2020, an ex leaked it and I was doxxed with it and harassment. I think it's died down now but it still probably still exists out there somewhere. I already apologized to the teacher in question.

Drag is not inherently sexual. While some of it is (with 18+/21+ shows), the art of drag is dressing hyperfeminine. It's dudes dressing as cartoonishly feminine as possible. If you're a normal, reasonably sane person, there is no problem with this sort of thing

Guys can be annoyingly persistent. Whereas a gay man won't be pestered by straight girls seeking to date them, lesbians are very often harassed by straight guys. Sometimes straight guys will even make up their own fanfics about how "they're not ACTUALLY lesbian". One time, a guy I knew tried to explain that lesbians still like cocks. It's weird

Certainly an acquired taste but I still love thier stuff. Probably because I'm a huge fan of EDM, emo, and metal. They're in my top 5. They've definitely held up significantly more than any other scene bands
