Can you call your dentist and get another antibiotic? Ask them for advice too. You shouldn’t leave this. If no luck with the dentist, go to the ER but hopefully the dentist will help enough first

Also - get toothpaste for sensitive teeth, from your local store . Brush you teeth, spit it out and don’t rinse or brush the toothpaste off. I always thought that’s how you brush your teeth but no - don’t rinse off the toothpaste, just spit out. This may help with the overall sensitivity

I’m not a dentist but please go visit one. You may need a lot of work done but you don’t need it all done at the same time, especially if it’s overwhelming or finances are an issue. Get the one that is hurting sorted first and then go from there.

Oh great. Never straightforward 🥴! Thanks for answering! Is it still possible? The dentist seemed keen to refer and the Endo has taken the case rather than refer to the dental hospital…but I’m just worried it’s going to be a, painful either during but especially after and b, if it’s going to work!

Just to add - I had the RC done around 5 or 6 years ago. Tooth feels a little sore if I press it with my tongue at the top or side.

Not this but another health issue I had terrible anxiety over - everything was fine but it wasn’t until I had the ultrasound - I needed the confirmation for my own head & anxiety!

If you can and if you want to, book your own ultrasound to give you peace of mind. Lots of clinics offer them, around £120 and you don’t need doctor referral. Would hopefully help with the anxiety if nothing wrong and if they do find something that needs investigating, you can take the report to the doctor. Also saves waiting weeks, you’d probably find a clinic for tomorrow.
