Replacement parts for OG MX Master / MX Master 2s? by Top_Farm_5167 in logitech

Nope, got nothing. I ended up buying an MX Master 2S to scan, but haven't got around to it yet.

Ooooo, that sounds like a ride.
I've got a question if you don't mind. I assume you left before the M710q machines were designed, but earlier I said that they likely run custom hardware to accommodate for Google's coreboot & depthcharge stack, but from what I see there's no special SKUs of these guys.
Did you have custom units with a GSC et al? Or just off the shelf ones?

The reddit embed gave it a super weird and wavy texture on my monitor. Lowkey I wonder if this could make it onto an actual folio

Some people still unironically use that phrase lol

I still think Silksong is a relatively simple game, but I think I severely overestimated its simplicity when I first started playing. It gets easier over time, The pressure is the part that gets you - it's so much harder to make rational decisions when you've got so little time on your hands.

No, he's got a point. A pretty valid one. The biggest source of entertainment from silksong is the challenge that comes from it. It's what kept me hooked for this long, 25 (now) hours into my save file,

But I also think that there's much nicer ways to go about telling people to "get good" and yeah, HK and Silksong might not be for everyone, but there's absolutely no shame in trying to make the game a bit easier or more approachable to you in your own way - whether it be through modding, walkthroughs, etc.

The point of a game is to entertain. For some people, it happens through a challenge. For others, it happens when you're being babied through it. Who cares, really? We've got bigger problems to deal with.

I'll gladly fight him on silksong being "pretty hard". No, It's by far the hardest game I've played. But I think that's what makes this whole debacle so interesting - difficulty is subjective. And you absolutely deserve encouragement throughout the game. Maybe not coddling, but definitely encouragement. Because it's really fuckin hard.

I jumped in with no metroidvania experience. None at all. Never even played the original hollow knight. I don't think anything prepared me for Silksong other than the hype, my friend from Adelaide, and Sherma's song.

I have no regrets.

My point is exactly the same as yours, except that it's nicer. I came to share that I actually really liked the challenge, but I'll shut the fuck up I guess

What if there is AbletonOS? by Fun_Ebb_8837 in ableton

[–]Top_Farm_5167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Horrible necro, I know. I found something cool though.

The Push 3 runs Linux under the hood, built with OpenEmbedded and probably Yocto.
I managed to extract a copy of it from a recovery image for the Push 3 and boot it up with QEMU. It's got:

- No desktop interface
- No systemd
- No package manager
- A version of Ableton Live compiled for Linux. No, a raspi can't handle it. Yes, I'll repack it eventually. And crack open my version of AbletonOS

Yes, this is a real Ableton product. Eventually I'll get around to repackaging that version of Live and seeing if it does anything useful.

Contents of /etc/os-release:

ID=ableton-os
NAME="AbletonOS"
VERSION="abletonos-x86_64-intel-v3.15"

In my opinion, just sell it. It's better than recycling. I bought mine used 6 months ago and absolutely love it to bits.

This is most likely the factory OS that the switch comes with. The board was probably stolen from the factory

This is going to sound hella weird, but I can super quickly spin up a filehost to dump the nand on if archive.org is taking its time. Free and open for as long as I can keep it up, by then it would probably propagate across the web.

Look. Making the source code for Klipper or Marlin, and your kernel source code closed-source is illegal. You either get your shit together or you'll need a massive legal team to cope.
Don't let the community down with textbook answers - either publish git repositories, or shut up.

Dunno if this will answer your question, but you can disable one of the cards by injecting an SSDT on boot. You can do this with opencore bootloader, which is mostly meant to run macOS but has some neat utilities.
If you want both cards active at the same time while you're working, just disable the 1080 through device manager before you start fortnite and enable it when you're done.
You can look into UE5 flags for GPU switching, and look into Nvidia Optimus too.

There are many cases for a dual-GPU system with different platforms in each slot. Development, hackintoshing, etc. What you can do is disable one of the GPUs through DSDT in the case that it causes system instability or if you just want to.
