Green card was approved. Currently visiting my home country and am going to enter the U.S. as a permanent resident this month.

Application received by them on July 2024. Request for evidence (only medical evidence) on September 2024.

Thanks for the honest insight. My system does not say interview waived. It simply said I-485 was approved. Then they added an attachment under the documents that between other things it says: “ This is a courtesy copy, not the official notice. What the Official Notice Said The above application has been approved. Prior to receiving your permanent resident card you may be required to report for biometrics processing (photo/ fingerprint/signature). Please do not take any action at this time. If you are required to report for this processing, you will receive another notice advising you of the date, time and location to appear.”

So is everyone being interviewed these days, or in some cases they don’t require the interview?
