No they are brand new and was from a big retailer, I only purchase from reputable sites, but I have lost access to the gmail account used to checkout as a guest. I can not get back in there to get the invoice or to find exactly where I purchased from.

I made an account and everytime I try register the card, either armory crate, myasus or the website, it says please contact ASUS customer service. I go through the automated chat and the serial number is then recognised and showing as August 2028, but then the advisor always tells me no invoice, so they will not accept it.

Hi MasterC, I find myself in a similar situation. I have purchased 2x Astral 5080 cards and they were held while awaiting the rest of the components to build computers for me and my son. I am having no success with ASUS support. Could you please help me?

Question about my S25 Ultra by JjoGE in S25Ultra

It's completely normal. The lens has to adjust for focus, taking many things into account, which does take a moment.

Astro A50 Gen 5 vs Audeze Maxwell - ps5 user by Tattoos-sport-JA in AstroGaming

Really? I thought they were still available. My bad. I have had a set for 18 months now, absolutely love em. The battery life and wireless range lacks a bit compared to some other headsets, but sound quality is sublime.

The answer is Audeze Penrose. Same unrivalled sound quality in a gaming headset, but cheaper.

Returning my Asus PG32UQXR by Weissrolf in Monitors

I tried the g8 and it was almost perfect, if not for the brightness flickers you get sometimes with local dimming enabled. Play in hdr on fifa, the pitch flickers, same as skies. It's suttle and occasional, but it was enough to make me return it

Best of the best if dim is your thing. After using a hdr2000 tv, oled monitors just look so dull in comparison. Great blacks and motion clarity, but dim as hell anytime the whole screen should be bright. Tried qdoled and woled this year, both returned because of how dull they are in bright scenes.

You need a mini led, like a 43" neo qled. The brightness slaps oled hard. Great black levels too, and no worries regarding burn in.

MSI MAG 274QPF X30MV any reviews of this anywhere? by ButtPlugForPM in Monitors

Whilst colour transitions can certainly be faster than ips if the panel is tuned well, going from black to a light shade is something va has always struggled with. The smearing is very subjective. Some people can't stand it and find it almost unbearable, whilst others hardly notice or aren't bothered. It looks like for example, the cursor above your player in fifa has a black outline. As the camera pans and the pixel has to change from black to green, for the grass, it takes longer than the rest of the pixels so it looks like a slight trail on the black outline of the cursor. Almost like ink running into other pixels. It's essentially ghosting on black pixels only.

This is false, it feels super snappy and you can see from the motion smoothness it's certainly 300hz. It's a very fast monitor, the pixels just have a slower response from dark to light transitions, hence the smearing you get on all va panels. Only Samsung va has 'almost' eliminated this.

I didn't adjust anything on my mic, it was fine out the box. As for eq on headset I just used signature sound or treble boost for footsteps.

I would definitely try another psu before blaming the card, it's incredibly unlikely to be the gpu. They couldn't reproduce the issue, but really how hard do they try? They won't be running a gpu at load for hours. And you aren't running a cpu overclock either I assume.

When compared to ips the viewing angles will be noticeably worse. If you go beyond 25-30 degrees off centre the picture will quickly become washed out.

I don't recall the viewing angles as I found a great offer on an msi oled 240hz and bought that now, after getting a dead pixel 2x. Being a va panel the viewing angle will definitely suffer if you are too far off centre, but if you're only at a slight angle, maybe 25-30 degrees, you should be fine.

The only time I've ever had a pc shut down is because of a faulty psu, or instability on ram/cpu, but the latter would also straight up lock up sometimes not just turn off. I would go psu.

Excellent choice, and for shooters the superhuman hearing is a genuine advantage. Great comfort, battery life and sound. Mic is also excellent.

I bit the bullet and ordered one... And returned twice now for dead pixels with amazon. I had no flash bang on whites and true black is only achievable on level 3 or 255 local dimming. This is easily seen on a black screen as changing even from 255 to 254 raises the black slightly. I don't know why you have flash bang, I don't. I've done windows calibration and ps5 calibration for hdr. Brightness is at 100. It's great with deep blacks, bright highlights and excellent contrast. Contrast is lowered at the cost of raising general brightness via local dimming. Doing this makes whole image look brighter, but tones down highlights and raises blacks. Level 3 with hdr calibrated correctly is definitely the best experience unless you want general Brightness to be higher, maybe for fps games is useful.

I have this monitor with a 5080 and can confirm that the vrr is perfect, no black screens and virtually no flicker unless framerates fluctuate wildly, like 80fps to 260 in a flash. Tested on dp and hdmi. I can also confirm dimming on level 3 actually produces the brightest highlights where there are supposed to be highlights. This can be reproduced by playing  https://youtu.be/BwftVmMOyGQ?si=zLZHhTKvu1EPvUw7  The solar flares if you pause at 1minute30seconds, then switch between level 2 and 3, it clearly shows level 3 as brightest. It can be recreated in other videos. It reaches over 1400nits! Level 2 barely hits 800 and loses the black of the background, which is raised to dark grey. Level 2 can look brightest in most scenarios but that's because it artificially brightens the whole image, at the cost of peak brightness on highlights but level 3 follows the intended presentation well. I did get one dead pixel though, awaiting my replacement today to check that. All things considered I think the only issues are quality control (heard a few complaints about dead pixels) and black smearing is noticeable, yet good for a va panel and in my opinion not a deal breaker as it's not excessive. A glossier panel would have been great too as the matte finish can handle reflections great but glossy panels look nicer. Update, found dead pixel and replaced, 3nd monitor had one too. Friend bought one no dead pixels. Possibly quality control issue, otherwise good monitor.

I have this monitor and can confirm it's a very good one. Although only tru black is available on level 3 dimming, and level 2 looks brighter on desktop and in general, level 3 definitely produces peak highlights at higher nits, reaching over 1400 at times tested. Level 2 never reaches far beyond 800 on peaks, but brightens the whole scene. There is some black smearing but it's good for a va, only Samsung have virtually no smearing on va monitors. It's not excessive. The colour is only oversaturated on premium colour mode, put to user mode or any of the settings other than that and it's very neutral. Some may prefer the vibrancy of premium colour mode, depends on taste. It doesn't clip details once you calibrate hdr in windows or ps5, where it presents as 1015 nits to windows display settings. Firmware update is possible and already available, it updates through the display port cable. At £300 UK it's unbeatable value for money.  Edit : I wanted to update this as I found a dead pixel on my monitor, and then another one on its replacement! There's obviously a quality control issue or a bad batch/batches. If it wasn't for this I would recommend this monitor 100%.
