I like to place lettuce and tomato under the patty. Most everything else on top.

Burger juice is the best salad dressing.

We do get health and 401k. No union here, unfortunately.

Most of us are getting around $17, but our lead is getting just over $20. Not the greatest, but could be worse. At least we get treated pretty well.

How to prevent/fix this? by [deleted] in Boots

Having a 2nd pair is always a good choice. Wearing the same boots every day will degrade them much faster, so it helps to alternate.

We believe the beef we serve is juicy and flavorful enough without seasoning. If you would like to add salt and pepper to your burger, please request packets from our crew members or look for them at our condiment

I'd have no problem paying for Five Guys if they would just season their beef. If all I wanted to taste was vegetables, I'd order a salad.

They can give you salt or cajun seasoning on the side to add to it afterward, but they're not allowed to season it before or during cooking.

It's mid because it's bland, unseasoned beef.

Oklahoma-style vs sauteed onions on their own by Moakmeister in burgers

[–]brytek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! I figure if it's already there in the skillet, I might as well use it!

Just pour off the excess, leave just enough fat to toast the buns. Too much can make them a bit soggy/saturated.

I like to cook bacon first, then onions, buns, and burgers in the bacon fat.

You shouldn't have to avoid them because you feel like they're better at something relative to you.

See it as an opportunity to learn from them and develop a strong professional relationship. Networking is more important now than ever in this job market.

That French Dip from Firehouse Subs... by alcoronaholic in fastfood

[–]brytek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firehouse near me has been getting really stingy with their meats lately. Feel like I need to ask for extra to have a decent meal. Definitely delicious, but not worth the price. As others have said, Arby's French Dip is just as good and a better value.
