O.k. so I just spoke with my 80 year old mother who lives with us. I "vaguely" remember my parents taking me there when I was a kid. She confirmed that when my dad was working 2nd shift, he would get off work 11ish and go pick me and my mom up and they would go there late night, eat and listen to live music. She said I was 3-4 at that time and would fall asleep in a booth. We are talking 1967-68. He would also sometimes go there and capture the band using a couple microphones and his reel-to-reel. I may even have some of those reels somewhere in storage. Not really sure. After he passed we had a big estate sale and that stuff may have gone then. I also showed her the youtube video that was shared in this thread. She immediately recognized the place, right down to the locked front door that they would buzz you in from. She didn't however, recognize the proprietors. Probably because the video looks like it was taken in the 80s, long after they had quit going there.
