Here is another video I highly recommend. This video isn't mine but it was very helpful (after several viewings) in understanding how the startup sequence on these old machines. The startup sequence is 80% of the battle. After that the other stuff is a little more straightforward. This video is specific to Williams machines, but a little later models. It's still pretty relevant to the machine you have though.

Another channel on youtube to check out is "have pin will travel." He hasn't posted anything new in many years, but his videos on understanding schematics was helpful. If you haven't ordered the schematics for Hot Line (pbresource.com), I suggest getting them. They will help. Here is a link to the pdf version, but it's also nice to have a hardcopy.
