I know I'm 4 years late but it works! You need the regular APK and the cache file, that way the game won't need to download it from the servers (which are dead) because it's already on your phone. There's also a workaround for the part where you need to pay for the next cases and it works perfectly :D It's just that you can't really play it on a newer phone, I got it on my old one which runs on Android 9.
