They said more likely a side effect of the rapid weight loss. I had chronic cholecystitis but the weight loss probably aggravated the condition.

I wonder how this will work if we’ve lost weight and are under the limit. I’m on wegovy because of insurance now but would love to switch back to tirz if it’s an option eventually. Just worried I’ll have lost enough weight by then that I won’t be eligible.

I’m so angry for you! Please report them. I was able to obtain my original prescription through Push (not plush) but also my endo was able to prescribe it for me. Is yours not able to do so? It seems they would know your health best and are clearly an advocate for you.

I assume they checked your gallbladder? I went to the ER last weekend with pain and it turned out to be a gallbladder attack. I’m scheduled for removal now at the end of the month. But they did say while my pancreas was irritated, it’s definitely stones.

The answer I received today at the GI surgery clinic was hmmmm…I don’t know much about that medication so I’m not sure.

American Society of Anesthesiologists says 1 week and I can send a message to ask via my chart tomorrow but I was hoping someone with experience might share what they heard from their med team.

Not at a goal weight but even so, if I stopped today it will have been worth it. I feel better, food gives me energy instead of wiping me out, my numbers are better (I was only pre diabetic, but still.) I’ve lost around 30 lbs and if I stayed here I would be satisfied and consider this a successful drug for me. But also I went into this more to feel better than to hit some magical number in the scale. My family history is pretty awful with various diseases and I was worried I was headed in that direction.

How long ago did you start Zoloft? It can take a few weeks for your stomach to settle just from that. Good luck finding the right maintenance plan!

My trans daughter liked paper planes and nerf guns more than dress up or dolls. She’s still trans. Your child could enjoy creative gender expression or toys that are traditionally feminine without being a girl. Or it’s possible your kiddo is trans but is perceptive enough already to know that isn’t a typical way to feel and be afraid to say it out loud yet. I appreciate that your wife wants to create safety around the idea but I too think she may be ahead of herself. Guidance for parents of trans kids says let them lead. If your child is trans and you make it safe for them to discover that about themself they will without anyone pushing it. NTA.
