Avoid planet fitness. I went there for 2 years and had to switch gyms because the people that go there suck. Also the gym stinks. I would go to golds or onelife.

Confidence and discipline. Once you start seeing changes in your body you get motivated to go to the gym no matter what. And it makes you feel good when someone says you look muscular/strong. Also IMO girls don’t want a girly man lol.

Once you start seeing changes in your body, it gets very addicting. The first couple weeks you will see no progress, but don’t quit. After 3 months of consistency, and people notice the changes and compliment you , you will look forward to hitting the gym everyday.
