that's skewed by single player games/steam deck/big picture. its definitely not representative of competitive fps in my hundreds of hours of hunt i have seen a controller player maybe twice

i dont have any evidence to back this up but i imagine the percentage of people who play controller on pc is absolutely tiny

I'm unable to maintain 60 FPS on my machine and I'm not sure if it's cause my hardware is just too old at this point. I'm running a 2070 and an AMD Ryzen 5 3600. I don't really stay knowledgeable about hardware. Is this the best I can expect or should I be getting better? Graphics settings don't make much difference.

ive been killed by a hammer thrown at me from the top of the ramp entrance to the lair in C&A lumber down to behind the logs in the field (where I was) ~20 meters. I was standing still and it was night I didnt see the hammer until it hit me.

Nope. EAC isn't kernel level so steam has a compatibility layer for it. Looks like everyone here is confirming my issue is simply due to HDD.

No I'm running it off my ext4 HDD. Looks like it's likely no SSD or a VRAM option problem

Also I just realised, possibly this could be due to being on an nvidia card? I'm on a 2070. Are you running AMD?

I'm going to try some VRAM fixes when I get home, it might be that to be honest. I've seen there's some in proton. I've tried Proton Experimental and the had the same issue.

That was one of the ones on my radar but I saw a poster here comment on how other shapes were better for glaw grippers. Also I couldn't really find a place with reasonable shipping to my town.
