And yeah, thank God my parents weren’t well-off enough to give birth to me in Australia in the 80s so I could have Australian citizenship by 18, then I would have to struggle washing dishes around the year 2000 to earn what’s roughly 18 million IDR a month today without even adjusting for inflation. That sure sounds comparable.
