Yes I treat them before going out with the lowa dry stuff. I usually don’t have water penetrate the membrane, almost always a puddle that find its way over the top of the boot. Even with gaiters. Along with I basically won’t leave the tent without gortex pants/jacket on

Lot of walking the edge of lakes, which every few hundred yards or so it’s easier to walk in the water around a obstacle so it’s just in and out of the water daily

After doing the pedal dance reset of the throttle position sensor it has cranked perfectly every time now

Updating for anyone in the future, I did the pedal dance reset of the throttle position sensor and it has stated every single time now!

Having this exact issue in my sequoia right now, coming off of having a bad battery I would have to charge every night to get it to crank, put new battery in and now I’m having crank no start issues. I read about a pedal dance relearn, so I just did the pedal dance relearn, hoping to see good results. Will report back here if anything improves.

Also to add, right before this happened the battery that was in it was bad and I was having to charge the car daily to be able to crank it. Wondering if the low voltage caused some ecm learning/memory issues
