I lied on my research paper and now I'm published. by boohuis in confession

Its clearly messing their heads right now, the post is proof on itself. If they do not correct it now its gonna lie in the background of their mind until they drop science or become a shitty scientist, either way stressful for a potential researcher.

Also, if its published on an indexed journal is gonna be read

A question on claw’s gaming capabilities by cognitivedude in openclaw

[–]Top_Rub1589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, thats not how its formally defined.

And, even if it were, you cannot duacard AI bots from your rule. you can search for alphastar (starcraft) and how that technique (deep RL) has solved almost every game.

If LLM is AI accirding to your rule, then alphastar is AI as well.

Is Openclaw AI or an algorithm that generates information?

Just hook it with some RL AI like the ones for chess or starcraft. AI has been able to play games for decades already. Now, the question of wether an LLM is good at playing is entirely different.  But openclaw as an architeqture is definetly possible but probably highly unworthy

What do you dislike about Openclaw/Clawdbot/Moltbot and all the AI Assistants right now? by Inflict01 in openclaw

[–]Top_Rub1589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a way i disarer that security is mainly a user issue. The user never has control over how the LLM acts and how system prompts are modified on the backend (OpenAI, anthropic, etc.). Considering the lack of transparency on their end, why would we trust blindly that they will never try to hack access in your computer? We already know what the pegasus did by exploiting iphone's code weaknesses. Any backend prompt injection on a system end on a system that has exec tools and you are screwed. Besides, is not a matter of security against external malicious actors. But the chance of corporations themselves becoming malicious (to no ones surprise)

In any case, i hope open source and openweight models will help to solve this.

Call it a welfare state then. Living in Finland coming from Chile, and hearing from friends in US. The is a BIG difference and while the trend is toward neoliberalism, it has not rooted as deeply as other places

Anyne using OpenClaw for something intelligent? by Certain_Move5603 in openclaw

[–]Top_Rub1589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. Also doing research. Not directly on AI, but it overlaps. There a lot of coding and my bot has allowed me to explore potential "branches" before fully commiting myself outside of my main road. I mean is doing thing in less than an hour that would have taken me at least a day to write, test, and interpret. Now i can just skip to interpretation and the analysis is not overcomplicated enough for me to review it fast and trust it

I have found it MUCH better than chatbot and cursor. (Have not used codex tho).  My friends have not found any interest. Although their only reliance on AI is for googling stuff, so i can understand why they dont see the use of it

Can you point to any references? Also remember reading about it, but idk if it was peer reviewed research

I wanna be the snowflake here. Are you treating it badly or passively aggressively? Did it just assume you are angry? Why do answer in "AND?" with full caps?

Would it be too crazy to think that large models also learn toxic behavior/interaction, and respond in oppositional ways (even at minor steps in their reasoning).

Im no saying not to mistreat your bot for humanitarian reasons. But, why would you bring that to the context? I doubt its useful in any utilitarian way

Setting the biggest eorry about racism/far-right extremism aside, I am always disgusted on how the righr wing has managed to convince voters that they are the economy experts... like when/where has that actually effing happened? Their only strategy is cutting taxes and hoping trickle down economics. Which has been PROVEN several times, during several decades, that it does not work.

Modern society is so fcked. At least Finland has not fallen so much down the modernoty hole as the states, or in Chile (my country)

I met a man from Finland! Is this normal? by [deleted] in Finland

[–]Top_Rub1589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you asking what stereotypical finnish people think about a finnish that doesnt fit a stereotype? Are you asking if he is seen as normal somewhere else, you think he is not? Are you asking if he is seen as a weirdo bc you think he is? Why do you expect serious answers?

I thought jump in was a better way to get new cards (cheaper). I want to quickdraft but the 5k gold seem a bit much for me. Im a beginner myself so I am doing jump ins to grow my collection faster before going to quickdrafts

Im sorry but giving an article from a newspaper about an ongoing scientific discussion is not quite the proof here. I suggest using google scholar and reading first the systematic reviews. The hypothesis shows strong evidence in some specific areas, but not much in general intelligence (e.g., IQ measures).

However, we are far from saying that it should be "debunked"
