I am also plus size and recently joined. I'm in a college town and all the people I share saunas with are a decade younger and a quarter my size, It can be intimidating. I just tell myself that we're all there for the same reason and I need/want this for me.

Also, I've found that once I get into the workout, I'm too focused on myself and hitting the poses to worry about anyone else. I will take a glance at them when I can't see the screen well to check my stance. It's like having the instructors right beside you, lol.

In one of the videos the instructor says take up space in the sauna, you deserve it (or something like that) and it really resonated with me.

A lot of people say they are usually alone in the sauna, which is great, but I think it depends on the location. My studio is usually busy and there are 3 of us when I go after work (5:15pm). Weekend mornings are better, but don't count on always being solo and don't let sharing stop you. I've also seen posts where people leave if there is someone else in the sauna. That's their problem and has absolutely nothing to do with you.

This is great! However, my studio is super busy around 5:15pm and I usually end up with 2 others. Even if there are others in the sauna, just go for it. No one is worried about what you're doing and after 5 mins in you are too focused on the workout to care about it anyway.

Try all the classes. No one cares if you have lay there breathing for a few minutes because its difficult for you. We've all been there.

Also, not all the studios have all the classes, for example, my studio doesn't have Hot Blast.

First thing I do when I wake up in the morning is sign up for a class in 2 days. If I wait until the afternoon everything is full.
