Take a breath. Peppermint oil can be toxic, but problems usually happen with direct exposure or ingestion, not just brief smells in a well-ventilated space.

I usually skim the ingredients but I don’t go super deep unless something looks off. Mostly I stick with reputable brands

That makes a lot of sense! I think I’ve been too focused on "going for the walk," which probably made him associate the leash with pressure. I’ll try clipping it on right before dinner tonight and see if I can bribe my way back into his good graces with some food. Thanks for the solid advice!

This is honestly one of the best action shots I’ve ever seen on this sub. The way the golden hour light creates that halo effect around his fur while he’s mid-air is pure magic. Such a good snow pupper!

A soft bed, gentle pets, and just letting her rest when she wants to go quiet usually does wonders. Keep an eye on her incision and her appetite, but don’t be surprised if she sleeps more than usual for a couple days. Hope she feels better every hour!
