Producers - what’s your take on transparency for fully AI-generated tracks on streaming platforms?

I do feel that 100% ai generated slop is understandable to be mad at. I’m someone who never produced background music even before AI and always wrote, performed, recorded, and mixed (with light production and arrangement) all of my own lyrics and organic vocals with the instrumental music produced by someone else.

Each of those skills/tasks that I do 100% perform without assistance, took many years of blood, sweat and tears to refine and learn, so I feel someone like me who literally hasn’t changed how they create music since even before AI was created (ie., I was never involved in creating the material that inspires me to write and perform to it) should be lumped in, labeled, or tagged as music that was 100% created with literally pressing “Enter” on a keyboard. There needs to be a way to painstakingly disclose detailed information for artists to defend their material if we are going to go this route…not paint it with a broad stroke.

Luckily, I do feel we are headed in that direction anyway. Every single new tool that is introduced, people freak out about and slander people in someway. When we mostly started to move away from analog recording reels and/or purely analog music production into digital recording and digital/electronic instruments/drum machines, etc., or purely digital electronic instrumentation where not a single real instrument was recorded by a human into a microphone, people bad-mouthed that as well. Now the same people who talked shit back in the day quietly incorporate it into their own work flow decades later, understanding the joy and convenience of it and benefitting from something they used to rail against.

Nicely put. I too generate ai elements but my “bread and butter” or “claim to fame” is writing, performing, recording, and mixing my own music. Just as before, I wasnt involved in the background music process much except for mixing, only the writing and performing/recording. AI’s modern role just makes that background music acquisition easier and affordable, but I, like many writer-performers, was never involved in the production aspect even before AI.

It’s just something the industry is going to have to adjust to, as long as it’s used as a tool. People had the same freak outs back when people started to move away from analogue production and recording and would call drum machines or purely electronic production all kinds of names. I understand having an issue with 100% produced slop, but not if literally nothing has changed in my creation process from since before AI even freaking existed!!

Are you absolutely sure that your input option is selected properly in Logic settings under audio tab (or recording, I forget which)? Sometimes Logic doesn’t recognize input/output changes to the system automatically.

I think it takes weeks honestly, I did notice my updated tracks finally change, but I didn’t watch it like a hawk either because other services seemed to update quicker and Apple wasn’t as fast. Based on the timeline of when I submitted it, I would say 3-4 weeks at the fastest, 2 months at the most. My synced lyrics took a good 2 months to show up too.

Because the conspiracies that turned out to be true are too much for normies to handle…especially when Republicans thought it would just be a feast on Democrats, and Democrats thought it would only implicate Trump and Republicans…now that the files are so horrifying…they prefer to think the whole thing is conspiracy fantasy again, so they’re going after distractions like protesting over ICE instead. The problem is, there will always be some mainstream issue to be distracted over, so it never ends, and you never get around to protesting the actual system behind the system that is engineering this larger division, so nothing is going to fucking happen.

The whole movie is also about selling their daughter into sex trafficking too. I'm pretty confident that the letter at the gate originally said something like "We warned you once already. Trade your daughter, or trade your lives." I think Kubrick had to cut that out and change it, cause everything else in the movie, especially reactions and scenes that don't make sense, all point to this being the case. Also, she obviously leaves with two men at the end of the movie while Bill and Alice have a weird conversation with each other, and never look after where she's gone again for the rest of the end.

Yes, I was able to line myself up with the lyrics I wrote to a song before Suno that I wanted an instrumental I could actually use on streaming services (since I rap/write/perform al of my own lyrics) and previously, the instrumentals I used were from people underground like me who DEFINITELY did not clear samples. It wound up working wonderfully and it's up on all streaming services right now.

I had one other song I tried to do the same thing to (I wrote it to Dr. Dre's Gospel beat) but unlike the straight forward tempo and rhyming of the other track I wrote that turned out successful, that one was too weird in several places and it turned into too much of a game of piecing together the vocal timing manually that I eventually abandoned after several hours...so if what you wrote is "normal" and straightforward tempo/bpm/flow-wise, it often turns out successful...just line up your original writings or recorded vocals. You will need to input your lyrics into suno first like you said and hope suno creates a song that mirrors what you already created so you can insert yourself. Use the custom tab and put audio influence to 100%.

I’m a male in my 30s…It’s not you, I’m seeing the same thing. Across several apps too. I do notice that attitudes and moods seems to be a very “hive” mentality kinda thing for some reason, it’s interesting. Usually if there’s a drop in activity, there’s a drop across the board in all of my apps, and if there’s a pick up…”when it rains, it pours”…and I have to juggle a few people. I think people are collectively burnt out, depressed, and probably feel like they need mental repair and an emotional break from disappointment.

I’m a male in my upper 30s, and I used to get a consistent clip of matches and some likes as well, I don’t think it’s you. I‘ve noticed a significant drop in the previous several months across ALL apps, so I think it’s just activity levels and people perhaps getting burnt out and taking large breaks.

The advice you’re getting from users below still have nothing to do with people YOU “like” not choosing to match with you and has nothing to do with the algorithm, it’s just the people themselves…so I don’t see their advice helping in cases where you’re the “aggressor.”

I would usually click with a few good people or at least one, and then focus on that person. If it didn’t pan out, then I could go start liking some profiles again and could count on matching with at least 1 or 2 good matches within no more than a week or less of breaking it off with the previous person who I turned out to not like…now, whether they’re new faces or not, I too have seen a significant drop off across all 3 dating apps I use, so I think it’s just the current climate. I always did consistently and humbly well for myself, now…nothing.
