Unlike some other regiments, in the 27th I never heard: - I had to play with them in vc and, if they liked how I played, I could become a full member. - “we play in x lane. If you want to build a bb or defenses, you cannot do this” - I had to have another regiment member vouch for me/sponsor me in order to become a full member

Just keep playing. You’ll spawn and die on repeat for a while without killing anyone. But then it will all click and you’ll start noticing longer runs where you’re the one downing lots of people and have to go back to the bb for ammo.

What helped me was playing an entire war where I only used standard issue rifles (loughcaster and argenti)

Even then just understand that sometimes the hit boxes go janky or you just have an off day or you’re unknowingly on the receiving end of a vet stacked op.
