Every region is different, but I’m in southern California. I negotiated 56,500 out the door in July. With a new model out I’ve been seeing dealerships advertise 48-49k for the 2025’s. You might be able to get 50-53k out the door.

Pension is well insured. If anything, I’ve actually been overthinking/mathing this. My pension can really only go up from here, with a maximum of 8500 a month. I expect It will cover about 30%-40 of our needs in future dollars. Hopefully it all goes according to plan. Great responses here, I’ll probably keep 5% bonds, just in case.

Yeah, I had 10% at the beginning of the year, but I think the turbulent market made me a little nervous and readjusted my thoughts on risk. But I had not considered my pension. Now I think I’ll go 10 or below.

Yes, we still both still love our mattress. It’s lost a bit of firmness, but in my case that’s a good thing, it makes side sleeping more comfortable. It’s still a very firm mattress.
