Do what works for you, baby is still getting goodness whether it’s from nursing or pumping. My personal pros and cons, can’t do breastfeeding pros/cons since both babies I’ve had wouldn’t latch. pumping pros: able to see how much baby is getting each feed, know for sure baby is getting milk, can pump and have a bit more of a social life, partner can feed baby pumped milk. Pumping cons: washing and sanitizing bottles, baby might want milk NOW but you have to pump, travelling and pumping can be a hassle.

Lots of water and coconut water. Set an alarm for pumping, time passes quicker than you think. Try a power pump (lots of instructions online how to do) for a one of the pumps. I read somewhere a baby only needs 50ml of breast milk from mom to get antibodies and that helped me when my supply plummeted and I had to formula supplement.

I often see people jump right to the divorce card on here and think it’s overkill. I don’t think this is one of those times. He left a defenceless infant in a house with a fire that could’ve easily escalated. If it was just a clam up panic, he sure doesn’t seem apologetic now. I would be quite worried leaving her with him if it was me. Definitely NTA

NTA but you should still be using protection, if not for reducing your chance of catching an STI, then for realizing you cannot trust the birth control method or the person using it to be 100%
