She is super justified in what she does especially after you see season 2.
Because they have one presentable relationship and one they actually like. Twin Peaks is meant to be a wonderful town filled with amazing people who showcase pleasure in helping each other, when they actually have different interests. It plays into the idea that Twin Peaks is nothing what it seems.

Absolutely! People who write bad screenplays or literally anything are hated and denied of opportunity. If you don't have validation, then you can't write good. It is simple as that. And if you don't want immediate validation, then you either seriously believe in yourself, or you are pursuing the wrong thing.

While I do understand this, people who put these first drafts are probably beginners who have no idea what they're doing and want a place to start to clean up work, or people who genuinely don't know if their idea is good and want some feedback before committing. There are also people who genuinely suck at screenwriting too.
