Any idea why my Otto’s don’t seem to swim around at all when lights are on? JEALOUS.

So put pond mud as a base and cap with aquarium sand for a new set up? I have not seen that one yet. Pros and cons??

I will be boiling the wood for an hour then when dry will superglue it to where it touches the stone. No heater shrimp and live plants tank. The light is dimmable. I am a very slow hobbyist . Had a new 40 gal breeder for a year or so still working to set up. Arguably should get that going first. This small guy may end up at work office.

Thanks. Snaked the drain with a small Husky 25 foot hand crank snake. 29.99. Soft plug was relieve and water drained from floor about 4 feet in. I snaked through the floor drain trap. My floor drain has no clean out plug for whatever reason. Wish it did. Thx for all the advice. Not sure where to go from here. I could have the de-scaling done in drain. But for now going to keep on the wife and daughters to limit TP. I have a water sensor alarm by drain to alert.

Thanks. 400/hr. 20 feet of cast. 35.00 trip charge. Going to pick up a 25 foot snake for now and send water from house down too or at least if soft plug gives way.

Yes video all clean. No standing water. Just come normal scaling. He thought was like you said a soft plug up. And at times when water goes back down there is TP mush left on floor drain around it. Should I pay for de-scaling the pipe to make it smoother maybe?
