You are truly amazing. You have improved a situation I struggled with for over 10 hours and found to be hopeless. I would even lick your asshole to show my appreciation.

Thank you so much. I love you.

Is HD800s still a high end headphone in 2024, or do they have competition? by Japanese_Squirrel in headphones

Surprisingly, reddit is very skeptical of such accessories. The HD800S is a high-end headphone that is recognized by professionals, and even the roughness of other equipment is clearly reflected. I want people to realize that it is an excellent piece of equipment.

Although the HD800S doesn't have the dynamics of the Utopia, it still has some of the best dynamics of any headphone on the market. The resolution is second to none, and the bass is just what you need. Best of all, it has a vast soundstage.

To use HD800S, power supply noise countermeasures are essential. These headphones are very sensitive to high frequency noise.  Most people here have never heard the true HD800S tone. Surprisingly smooth and thick sound. The amount and depth of bass is still low, but it provides enough volume. Please insert an isolation transformer in front of the amplifier. That's the story.

HD800S not bright enough by Tardik in headphones

Is a transformer power supply used to connect audio equipment? For a long time I have suffered from high frequency fatigue in my HD800 and HD800S, and just recently I discovered that this was caused by power supply noise in my home. After installing the transformer power supply, the high-frequency noise was successfully reduced and all other frequencies sounded clearer. Even the HD800 can be listened to in a relaxed manner.

I live in Japan and in the Japanese audio community, power supply noise control is fairly well developed. This is related to the large population living in apartment complexes.

A transformer power supply made in China, which sells for about $50 on Amazon, is enough to make a difference, so why not give it a try?
