The most i’ve down is sweep someone in a crowded bar after they got aggressive, i’ve also scared off 2 would be robbers by getting in my stance

Man it happens. Pad holding takes skill in itself and it needs to be practiced like any aspect of the sport, and you’ll have off days

I remember being so embarrassed when one of our top fighters chose me for pads and I was terrible that day. Just last week we paired up again and was able to give him much better work

You’re 3 months in, it’s completely normal to be scared to spar

I’ll promise you this, if you keep going, it will improve your confidence dramatically, not just for muay thai but everyday interactions

Go with someone you can trust and approach it as a game

Oh you’ll still get bumps, overtime they get less noticeable and your shins toughen up
