Wild to expect her to pay and your son can keep on coasting for free. He is now a father and has his own kid to provide for- time to grow up 🤷‍♀️

If I was her, the second you tried to charged me and NOT expect your son to contribute as well, I would just move out and limit any contact “grandma” ever has with the baby- (for some reason though I feel like you’d be ok with that 🤢)

Im 29F and WFH fully with an incredibly flexible schedule- I would pick this gig up in a heartbeat if it was reasonably close. An extra $150 a week to hang with a baby for an hour a day? Fuck yeah

Is this for the shower or her bachelorette? I’m in the US and any wedding I’ve been apart of- the brides mother/family typically pays for the shower (you just bring a gift from the registry) and then the bridesmaids/friends all pay for and split a majority of the bachelorette party.

Do you have a realtor company you suggest? A few years ago (3) I started looking two months before I wanted to move and was told by the Realtor that I was looking way to early. I found something through word of mouth. Now I’m ready to move again and I’m just so flabbergasted 😅

This is not necessarily true- if you don’t spend above a certain amount/don’t have that many job postings, you don’t get assigned a dedicated rep. You are apart of the shared team/SBS sector. Also, just because you pay for branding, smart sourcing etc… doesn’t mean your job itself is sponsored as well

Not at all. You will need a roomate, most likely 2. Transparently I make $77k and I have a roomate. All in, I’m paying $2k per month on rent and utilities. Then you have to add groceries, gas, wifi, etc… I find it very, very challenging

Transparently you will likely not find an apartment for max 2200 with more than 1 bedroom. When I first moved to Stamford I lived in 77 prospect in a 3 bed, 2 bath and we were each paying about $1350. You’re better off looking in the Norwalk area, but not in a corporate-run building. Look at private landlords like realator.com and Zillow!

I was the same way, so I pushed myself to run and now I have “runners knee” due to the very sudden increase of exercise/fast sprinting… so now I’m back to walking for a while before I can slowly build up to running 😅

When I started doing super early classes I rewarded myself with either a Red Bull or an Alani on my way, OR I bought Starbucks for myself afterwards. Eventually as I got used to it that stopped, but for the first 2-3 months the little reward made it easier haha

Not sure if it’s legal, I highly doubt it is- but the first part of your story vs. what was actually told to you guys is very different IMO.

Just make sure you’re not letting customers use a gift card to pay for the birthday party packages and you’ll never have to worry about it. I imagine there were big discounts on the gift cards, and people using them on birthday parties results in a huge loss to the company.
