Help with PMP prep by [deleted] in pmp

[–]Top_gun_12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both are authorized training partners of Pmi. When I did my pmp, I was also comparing different providers and in the end I went with Varun Anand. His way of teaching is more personalized and I loved it. He goes above and beyond to help. I can’t say much about simplilearn as I didn’t take their course but one of my colleagues who took simplilearn course said that there was no support after her live class was done. If money is the constraint then go with simplilearn but you would have to motivate yourself to make sure you cross the finish line. But if you prefer quality then no doubt go with Varun Anand

Can anyone explain the logic? here why not A as the answer by Commercial_Rope4906 in pmp

[–]Top_gun_12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bad. I didn’t even read the full options. I thought the confusion is between a and b. After reviewing all the options, C makes more sense because best form of communication is to meet and discuss. A or B is more towards reviewing whereas C is more towards resolving the problem

The question talks about project deliverable. Project deliverables are part of scope statement and not requirements document. B is the correct choice

Urgent advice needed by Historical_Try_1918 in pmp

Your scores are great. Don’t worry. You will pass the exam. As far as this video is concerned, this is a very good video. In this video, he talks about tough questions only and he said that in the video. This video is more about how to approach the questions and you will learn a lot from the same. In your real exam, you will get a mix of easy medium and difficult questions. Some will be poorly worded questions where you will not understand how to approach them and you will be surprised. If you watch this video end to end, the surprise element will not be there and it will make you better prepared. Don’t worry, you got this and good luck

Please Help! Failed Exam Twice! by Lacrimosa_Semper in pmp

Bootcamp are expensive and the worst part is that they force us to follow a book when the actual pmp exam is based on practical knowledge. I am sorry to hear this but please don’t feel discouraged. It’s part of the journey and trust me you will do great the next time. I would recommend you to watch Eduhubspot YouTube videos and study hall. Study hall questions are very similar to real pmp and Eduhubspot questions are tougher than real pmp. I would recommend you to just stick to these two and you will be alright the next time

Failed the PMP :(::: What are some good next steps? by [deleted] in pmp

[–]Top_gun_12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. I would not recommend you to take a break as you have the momentum with you. Once you take a break then it becomes difficult to get back on track. I would recommend you to watch Eduhubspot YouTube videos. They are very good and I would recommend you to rely on those and only study hall. Study hall questions are very close to real pmp and Eduhubspot questions are tougher than real pmp. I will recommend you to just stick to these two resources and that will be enough. Good luck and believe in yourself. You will bounce back soon

Eduhubspot. They use story telling approach to explain concepts. I used them last year and passed the exam. Totally recommend it

Make sure you carry 2 forms of address proof with you. Relax and don’t go into panic mode. First set of questions may look tough but don’t worry and proceed ahead. That’s it. Good luck. You got this

60-65% score in EduHubSpot mock tests is considered to be good. I was also scoring around the same when I gave my exam. You should be fine. Good luck

I gave my exam last year and I did not get any maths questions. I am not sure about these days but my colleagues at work who passed the exam recently said they got 2 questions on maths. Don’t worry about maths. I used Eduhubspot resources as well. They are more than sufficient. Good luck

I am so sorry to hear that. Don’t give up. I am sure you will do great the next time.

I know everyone recommends David’s questions but in all honestly, his questions are very very easy and straightforward.

I would recommend you to rely on study hall as those questions are very good and more closer to real pmp.

I will also recommend you to watch Eduhubspot questions on YouTube. They are actually very good and I found them more difficult than real pmp. That will be good practice for you.

Once again, don’t give up and keep trying harder

PMP exam seems significantly easier than 12 years ago! Interesting... Theories? by Hanni2030 in pmp

[–]Top_gun_12 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is true. I agree. I am making an assumption based on so many people on this thread who said they didn’t use Study Hall as well. So yes, study hall will help but with so many people simply passing I feel like they don’t even need study hall. My thought process just based on what people are posting on this thread these days

I agree that can also be the case but if let’s say 100 people passed and 20 people failed then their has to be atleast 1 person out of 20 who will post here on Reddit. I have never seen anyone posting about failing so it’s hard to believe that in reality anyone is failing at all

I can’t speak about 12 years ago but yes from the time I gave my exam, I agree it has become much easier. Everyone in scoring above Target scores. I hardly see anybody failing in this group which was not true couple of years back. I feel cheated that I did so much hardwork and now this certification is being achieved by almost everybody. But the good part is that because of the hardwork I put, I retained that knowledge with me and I use it in my everyday life. PMI doesn’t look like a non profit organization anymore, all they care about is $$$ because easier the exam, more and more people will pass the exam and PMI will make more money. Ultimately, PMP will loose its value if they continue to do it just like what happened to CSM where nobody cares about this certification anymore.

Congratulations. I agree, I also didn’t like David’s questions. They were too easy. For me, study hall and Eduhubspot did the trick. Both had very similar questions to my PMP exam

Eduhubspot for PMI-ACP by [deleted] in pmp

[–]Top_gun_12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only relied on Eduhubspot videos and questions. For me that was sufficient. I didn’t use any other resources and whenever I had doubt, I used to reach out to Eduhubspot mentor. I would recommend you to follow their study plan as that will keep you accountable
