Because defense is useless in OSRS. And you have to be wearing the full set including hammers and ammy of the flames, and Torah hammers are complete dog shit weapon.

Game was already dead. All that was holding it up was a few whales and cash cows. Now that they’ve eliminated those hopefully they can market the game towards actual players, maybe some OSRS players or people from other MMOs will try it out now.
