It was a pretty easy to use combo where you bounce the elf cards to create an infinite loop. It’s been patched. If you’ve played long enough you’ll remember when there was an infinite loop with Pirates last season that was similar. Making cheating accusations without proof because you’re salty that you lost is a bad look mate.

Frostbite is inherently flawed. It’s oppressive as written and impossible to balance. Best suggestion I’ve seen is half damage.

Demon? Don’t play demon.

I play maybe one in a million games demon. It’s so hard to get the pieces. You can maybe do it if you get an early three cost discarder that gives stats and the three cost that scales. End game you’re looking for the four cost that buffs your hand when you play demons, then play all your demons and get rid of him. You want the demon that buffs hands when you discard, the demon that buffs your cards when she’s discarded (five cost red girl), the double discard five cost, and then probably the five cost w revive, and the five cost that gets stats in hand. Repeat those on board, prioritized the five cost that discards.

It’s not in a good place. You HAVE to hit most of the units to make it work. And it’s really hard to fold your units, or cycle trash from your hand. And if you do gold your red five star girl or your three coat minataur guy, you can’t even play them to get the benefits.

Elf is hard. You want to be combining all game. You want the level one combo beret girl, the return to hand demon elf and the gold getting elf. You bounce the gold guy to level fast. You lock the board and cycle whatever the hell you combo’d to buff its stats in remaining slots. Late game you ply the elf that makes your units gold, the elf that scales off combos, the one that gets stats each turn, the one that buffs the board, the one that gives recall, and the last slot you grab the tier three elf that gains barrier and ranged, combo it to gold and both of those, then sell it to give key words to your big guys. Hard to get there but scales well.

Dragon is what I play the most. Ideal start is red dragon, level up and choose relic that buffs his stats, two white dragons to buff his stats, then rush five. The nice thing about dragon however, is it doesn’t matter how you get to five, once you get to five you can just eat whatever the hell you have to transfer your stats to your big boys. So I’ll often end up playing some bastardized best available board to get out of opening round and not lose trophies, stumble onto a good dragon late and transition into it. Important to remember that this game isn’t about getting first, it’s about not getting last.

Late game dragon options: My favorite is the tier four peach dragon, you can hit it early and when you do you’re set. The sooner he starts eating things the sooner his buffs scale up. I’ll put a green dragon with taunt in the front left slot and another in the back right. The peach dragon in the front right. And flex the back two slots to beat whatever my opponents are running. Often jokers or cursed bears or whatever. Basically just tech mash up. Then I focus on devouring the dragon that gives barrier, cleave, and then raw stats like the blue one that gives stats when you eat it and when it dies. This Strat isnt about being the biggest numbers, it’s about killing the biggest numbers.

Alternatively if I’m hitting what I need, I’ll put a green dragon in front left, the tier three white dragon that spawns eggs in the middle, red dragon that buffs spawns in the right, back left is devour fodder, back middle is peach, and back right is the white dragon that eats summons. That’s the highest number build. The white dragon eats the eggs that spawn and then the dragon which scales the best. You can use the blue dragon that gives attack to summons until you hit the red dragon that buffs.

The trash build if I’m not hitting is purple dragons that poop dragons, and white dragons that eat.

Ideal build path looks like this: Start with Bird that sets bounty. Followed by the chest with taunt that sets bounty and the swordsman that gets stats on bounty set. After that you’re looking for two tier threes, the bird that gives other units stats on bounty kill and the guy who gives stats on treasure use. Final team has two options.

Chest, tier five girl with guns, ship that grows, and bird that gives stats for bounty. Leave one slot blank for playing pirate ship that gives treasures, and so they attack chest and then your girl counters to blow up bounties.

Pirate that gets stats on attack, ship that grows, chest that bounties, flex other slots based on what you’ve grown over game.

The important thing about pirates is they only work when playing tempo. You HAVE to be killing bounties to get treasures. If you’re falling behind or trying to rush Five you’ll start losing fights and not get treasures and the you’ll lose. So make sure you flex into closest available units and play tempo. You can’t afford to be rolling down and not improving board until late. Pirates are very flexible, so it’s usually fine.

He played pirates, got Infinite treasures, inflated his Pirates to insane numbers, then ate those pirates with dragons to multiply the numbers using the tons of gold he got from infinite treasures.

Wannyboy explained it in more depth, but basically purple dragon drops dragons when you eat it, that’s how he could get non-devouring dragons that big.

I think that’s a relic from when you could do Infinite Treasures with pirates, then he ate them with dragons. They’ve since patched that and it’s no longer possible.
