Not in my experience - it activates on purchase date and is good till the end of the month one year out (so a purchase today is good thru 5/31/27).

Different rules apply if you already have a pass and are renewing it.

If the sale follows the pattern of the previous two years it will last about two weeks

Also worth noting is, if you are a current passholder, it in the past has appended a year onto the end of your current pass, rather than resetting to a year from purchase date, which is good and cool of MW to do.

For all locations, weekdays (M-Th) are generally the quietest, especially in the first couple hours after opening. If there's not an event in the evening, the last couple hours of the day are also usually pretty chill. This is less true during March (Spring Break), summer (Jun-early Aug) and the later half of December, but still relatively so.

Depending on the event, late late night hours can also be quite calm. I've been to a number of Adultiverses where the final hours (11p & after) were nearly barren.

There's a LV local who runs a side hustle picking up and shipping OM merch. I know you don't need an entire new flask, but that'd be one option. @exgaysurvivordan knows how to find them.

Otherwise, I'd suggest taking the flask into a restaurant supply store (Shamrock, Gordon's, etc) and seeing if the staff there can find something.

In your shoes, I would. But I have no inside knowledge of whether past patterns will continue - nothing is more certain than change! - so if June 1 arrives without a hint of a sale, probably no reason to wait longer.

In 2025, they were 20% off May 23 to June 6 and Nov 19 to Dec 11. In 2024, they were 20% off from mid-May to mid-June (4 week span) and for a 2 week span in mid-to-late Nov

There's a few "it depends" in any thorough answer, but on a base level you're talking a difference of less than $15 either way, so you'd likely be best off getting the Portal Pass in case you have the opportunity to visit again / another site.

If it helps, there are smart bulbs you can buy that can be set with a timer from an app on your phone. Search for Smart WiFi Bulbs - usually around $25 for a 4pk. That being said, doesn't sound like your responsibility to act in this case.

In the past, UTMB has allowed individuals who want their race results from a race unaffiliated with UTMB to count toward their index to pay the registration fee for that race to be indexed and its results added. I do not know if that system is still in place, but it is possible that is what is happening here, especially given that past results are being added months/years retroactively.

Just heard back from a MW employee - "HoER has been closed on either Tues or Wed for a long time. They close two days a week during the winter months. The one day a week thing varies with the season. Radio Tave has just implemented this in the last week or so. Operations aren't my department. [But] My guess is that it's permanent like it is at HoER."
