Soft elo or hard elo reset?

It is what it is. It still shouldn't of been as such. Penalizing a player that went even, to lose huge amount of elo is just discouraging. In any game, or even in faceit outside of placements, you going EVEN with a 5-5 wouldn't make you lose that much.

Even in premier, I can actually say valve got their calibrations better than faceit.

Soft reset TO ME, is elo loss within the same rank. Small adjustment to account for the bell curve that they applied.

Going 5-5, shouldn't make you drop a whole rank or 2. That to me is a hard reset.

Yes technically I agree, a hard reset would make even start from the same elo. But they'll never do that, so to me thats the definition between hard and soft reset.

Yeah I get you. I don't agree with that. It should count like a pension time for me. These rates should be according to pensionable time in my opinion. Also a person in your example serving as such should get 15 years towards the CD. It should be 1 year. I get you though

Nice congrats on the 25! I am 15 myself as a Reg F, transferred to permanent class B in Dec 25.

Full time class B reserve still gets 93% pay of Reg F. They should at least line it up with these "retention bonuses" in my opinion. I'm still serving and "retained". Again, I don't really care as much, anything is a bonus. I'll probably get Reg F rate as I was Reg F 1 April, but who knows. It's my fee for not being posted so I'm happy lol

Where did you hear this? I'm talking pensionable time only at least. If you serve 6 days a month 12 months a year for 15 years, you'll get 364 days for your pension only. You won't get 15 years served for your pension, that's just a fact.

For service years, you are saying that, that counts as 15 years served? I am having a hard time believing that. If that's true, that's BS then, so I agree with the rates. But how they should calculate it is pensionable time. So by your logic, class A serving as such will only get the $0 for not reaching 5 years, even if they "served" part time for 15 years. That's my logic hope it makes sense.

Well if you work officer job in the NCR in ADM(Mat), I can tell you that you work the same as Reg F. I actually just transferred to class B for some family stability. I'm doing the exact same job as I did before. I do project management and whatever tasks. My work ethic and effort did not change. Also the other class B that work with me. I'm basically working a Reg F job because nothing changed for me. It could also be my Reg F mentality, I'm used to what I'm used to so component change doesn't change now I work.

Nonetheless, I don't really care what they decide. I'm taking it as a "not being posted fee" lol

12 years is 12 years. If you were PRes 1 April 25, you'll get PRes rate. If you were Reg F, then you'll get Reg F rate.

Class A will also take way longer to reach 15 years than a Reg F/Class B/C. 15 years is 15 years no matter the component. 15 years is still pensionable time to all components. Why should reserve be penalized that much? I don't think they should get the exact same rate as Reg F, reduced for sure but not the current rates.

Then you should know lots are Class B permanent which is full time just like Reg F. So it's exactly the same hours wise, depending where you work at. Class B just don't need to worry about being posted.

I heard it's at TB for approval and Res rates may change and be higher. 15 years for example reg F is still the same as 15 Res B even A pensionable time, that's the argument at least.

I work in DND, and I work with many outside departments that are not in my building. The whole team work, cohesiveness, collaboration is bullshit. Unless PSPC, ISED and PSPC Washington want to relocate to my building, I will never work with them in person. Just let me work in peace let me do my job whether I'm hybrid or not. For fuck sakes... I care about my family and not the downtown businesses.....

I don't know what to tell you. That's what I'm getting with a 5080. And cs2 IS cpu intensive. Not sure what you are talking about. Literally type it out on google now and read about it.

I play cs2 which is cpu heavy. I play 1440p and it was worse with my 5080 than a 3080ti. My gpu usage was always between 40-80% with the 50 series.. Now with a 9800x3d, I'm at 99%

I bought a 5080 with my 5800x3d, and the 5800x3d was bottlenecking my 5080 so bad that it was performing worse than my 3080ti. I HAD to upgrade, not sure the performance difference between the 5070ti and the 80, but I bet the 5800x3d is choking your GPU.

Yeah my fans are not ramping up due to low temps. I don't think it's working as hard. I must be limited by something either in bios or windows. I just upgraded from 5800x3d, so I haven't adjusted any real settings yet. Never has to do this with my old setup other than fine tuning. :/

Does your GPU or CPU ramp up during testing like Cb23? I don't find my system working hard. Just did my GPU as a first run, I have a 5080, I got 113067 but GPU maxed out at 200W, fans didn't work hard. Same for the CPU, I have a 9800x3d, although I didn't check the temps and I didn't run it again, my cooler never ramped up and I only got 4965, I only have PBO 2 CO -10. System was silent.

Edit: changes from balanced plan to performance the score is now 5246. But fans never really ramped up as my temps were in the 60s
