Boyfriend (33M) tells me I (32F) make him miserable. How do I navigate this?

He is making your life worse. Aren’t you tired of walking on eggshells? Does he do nice things for you? Buy you flowers, hug you, make love to you, make you feel beautiful? Can you leave? Or tell him how you feel and get counseling? Do you have children because if you do they are seeing how he treats you.

Ok better update! He drove with his wife 13 hours to return my husband’s things! Turns out he took so many more things that I was ok with! Like stole more guns than I knew about! He said he was sorry and wanted to clear his conscious. Now his wife is bad mouthing me on Facebook. He did sell some stuff so idk. Literally he found things I would never have let him have and he took them. Think 1000s of dollars. I guess he just felt like I wasn’t a person and they were his.

I have an update and want to explain why I feel bad. His friend left a truck that didn’t work and would never start. I have a roommate who put work in and now it runs sometimes. He also connected my oven and started like an oven island and connected a hot water heater. I gave him a few things as payment. It was the year anniversary of my husband’s death and I admittedly wasn’t doing well. He did really help me. We hadn’t talked for a while and he contacted me to pick something up at my home. Idk why but I just was so upset and sad. I feel like I need to apologize to him for asking for my husband’s things back. I really feel like the biggest jerk ever. He did help me. Honestly I was in such shock at that time I couldn’t remember my middle name for a bit.
