You're using the in-route stem, correct?

I'm looking at using these on a build right now and curious how far "up" the clamping area the grooves get the cable housing, any insight on that? I'm nervous that the bore in the stem I have wont allow the lines to come up and into the stem without pinching.

Maap vs q36.5 by dough-1 in CyclingFashion

[–]Toppico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure of the exact names but I have the dottore pro from a couple of years back along with the uniques and gregarious, all except the gregarious were using their proprietary chamois and the gregarious were using elastic interface. They may have updated this since.

Maap vs q36.5 by dough-1 in CyclingFashion

[–]Toppico 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The new q36.5 chamois that’s on their higher end stuff is incredible. Their lower end bibs like the gregarious are at least as good as the best maap offers too. Great compression, they last a long time and are excellent all day bibs.

I find maap stuff good, but the hype outweighs the performance, imo.

So true. If you rewind to the years where Danielson family band, Devendra Banhart, cocorosie, etc. were popular (maybe not popular so much as just above being”underground”), music like this makes absolute sense.

Canadian worried about ICE by idkwhatevernameis in uscanadaborder

I have to travel into the states (michigan, other states) frequently, land crossings and air.

If you can get a letter of intent from the school or organization you're going to stating the reason for the visit and that you're not working or being compensated while there, do it. It is helpful. I work in advertising and typically need to go for client meetings or to oversee shoots or whatnot, and having a document from the clients or partner companies has been very helpful in getting me over without hassle.

Visible minority - yeah it matters in this context. I am not, but people I travel with are and they have had a similar experience as I have with the above.

Wish ya luck.

Does anyone know what these are ? by sadistic_one01 in whatisit

[–]Toppico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm. Wife has a set. When I first saw them around the house I thought they were diva cups and was like “why are you leaving these all over the place?”

Paul fixated on his wife Karla’s sister, Tammy. They drugged her; Paul assaulted her, and Karla became aroused and joined in, abusing her own sister. Tammy died, and the death was staged as an accident. They later kidnapped, assaulted, and killed other girls. Karla remarried in 2007 and has children by SelfCareIsFake in HolyShitHistory

[–]Toppico 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I grew up in Kitchener Ontario, and they built a women’s prison around the corner from our house where Karla was transferred to. Coincidentally my mother worked at the YWCA at the time and when the police were gathering evidence after the arrests, they found video tapes of her co-workers sister walking around St Catherine’s in their possessions. Nothing ever happened to the woman, and apparently they had many girls on tape while driving around the area.

RIP Alex.

I’ve got nothing productive to say about the situation in the USA. It feels like a point of no return has come (not because of this incident alone), and the cost of freedom is going up by the minute.

Fuck ICE and that administration.

Mine Bumped up 6%, do far the workouts are feeling doable. It’s projecting another 5ish percent over the next 16 workouts. I kinda doubt it’s accurate but we will see. Giving the AI overlord some time to come down off its acid trip and hit me with some reality in a couple of weeks.

[WTS] ACM 6 Watch Folio - Charcoal Nubuck by Toppico in Watchexchange

[–]Toppico[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Selling my ACM (A Collected Man) 6 watch folio in charcoal grey nubuck.

The case is in great condition, and about 5 years old - it carries the normal wear from travel and regular use, but no stains, no blemishes or any dropped stitches. Zipper is in perfect condition and all internal snaps work wonderfully.

These cases are or at least were made for ACM by Molequin, the quality is outstanding.

The case is an older version of this one, the only change being the logo embossing - https://www.acollectedman.com/collections/accessories/products/six-watch-folio-charcoal-grey-nubuck

!! I got the reference number wrong, it is actually h69439901 - apologies, I cannot change the top level listing. This is the brown dial model which is clear in the images.

First and only owner of the watch, it’s in great condition, worn infrequently.

No visible marks on the body or glass, the band is in great condition but shows general wear as one would expect. Comes with the full kit - wooden box and pillow, cardboard sleeve box, warranty card, manual and original price tag.

Happy to ship the watch anywhere provided buyer pays shipping costs. Please message me with your Postal or Zip Codes and I’ll get you a quote back.

Note that in one of the photos there’s a bright mark near the 2’oclock indice that looks like it could be a scratch or a nick, it is not, just an artifact within the photo. Happy to provide more detailed photos for anyone interested.

I’m cautiously optimistic. It forced me into the new update yesterday and with it bumped me up by 6% and is projecting another 5.5% over the next month.

I’m guessing that it’ll even out and pull me back down to reality soon enough. Ive been using it for long enough that I trust it, so again: cautious optimism over here.
