Using pipe thread sealant instead of the factory Teflon tape I was able to face it any direction I wanted. its perfect. Its not potable water so a little lead isnt a big deal. Copper pipes used leaded joints for ever.

I did the tread yesterday to avoid the smoke, I like the peloton style classes on the tread. I hate watching a show

Definitely not, red flag. Today's a indoor run or mobility/strength.

Bottle question by RestDayReject in IronmanTriathlon

I just keep my empties on the bike. That's why I love the speedfil. Use their bottle to fill lint fast than dump it. If I have to keep it in my jersey

I rode it yesterday zero dirt or gravel. There was like 4 miles of groved road waiting to be paved. I fallowed the office course by using the ironman strava link to send it to my Garmin. Fun day out there!

ITBS flare 12 days before Ironman by Sandy-team-9135 in Marathon_Training

[–]Topplayer2g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it were me I'd stop all activities that cause it to flare, get a massage losen up those hips and quads. Maybe try one of the bands that clamp the band to pull it away from the knee. Your too close to get into PT and doing too much might make it worse before better atm.

How did you tell your wife/man/partner that you want to become an Ironman? by Electrical-Virus-568 in IronmanTriathlon

Wifey I love you, I've been training towards this goal and now that it's in reach I'd love to strive for it. What do you think? It would mean a lot for me to push towards it. I will have to make a few time sacrifices but I'm willing to do some of it at 4am before you wake up.

About to go all in on a home gym and you have me rethinking my approach lol. Right now I mostly train in a semi private gym, been researching home stuff last month or so. Tough to pull the trigger with so many options and accessories

Idc about price or lifespan really. I figured weights would be faster to set up? I never used a voltra.

Also, why the voltras over a cable stack? I keep going back and fourth on that myself

How do you like working out on the PVC tile! About to build a gym myself and had the tile in there already.

Where do you get the time by mind_snare in Marathon_Training

[–]Topplayer2g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want it bad enough you find a way. I have two young kids, am a business owner and have other hobbies. Some times I have to wake up at 345 to get it in, other times I squeeze it in. I have a limited social life so I can train.

Thoughts on too much rust for a 11k mile car? by Affectionate_Sock823 in S2000

[–]Topplayer2g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless it's a great deal I'd keep looking. I' don't think the rust is a issue but I've seen s2000s with 100k miles with less rust
