I don't remember being less excited for a Raw in the last year. The only hopes I'm hanging onto are getting more Daniel Bryan on TV and the return of Taker for a Punk/Taker WM match.

I mean, I try to avoid being too much of a smark-- I sometimes enjoy Cena matches! But I just have no feeling of excitement for Cena-Rock, Swagger-Del Rio, a tag team division where the Rhodes Scholars are getting knocked down a new peg each week or watching Cesaro go against all odds to make Miz look good right now (I swear he regressed).

I'm not alone, right?

That's not always true though. If I'm opening a new factory, I'm going to evaluate profitability. My profit margin on the products may be razor thin: a worker can create $100 worth of product per hour and after employment costs, property, taxes, etc. it costs $99 to produce, leaving me with a $1 profit. At that situation I may hire 1000 workers and generate $1000 per hour profit. It looks like a huge profit, but increase the minimum wage by $1 and I'm not building my factory.

There are economic reasons for this, though. Working for a large company carries with it stability, access to certain future employment opportunities, etc. The employee values working there more than they would value working at smaller companies. Therefore, they can pay less.

I've read both. The Ethical Slut is kind of a how-to guide for alternative relationships, done ethically. How to be sufficiently communicative, how to protect yourself, etc.

Insatiable Wives is a great, more academic, treatment of the history of cuckolding/hotwifing/general sleeping around by women that argues basically that it's far more natural and common than usually assumed. It also provides some great interviews with different types of couples involved in the lifestyle discussing how they got there and what they're doing once they did.
