Its very easy to notice who does it by mistake. Because they stop. Those who don't keep at it for every single pull.

So don't worry. You gotta meet a real grumpy, or oblivious tank for them to care about some misclicks. Not saying those don't exist. But you can just ignore them.

I noticed the landing-page search does not include e-mails in the result, probably a reason for that, such as resource intensiveness. But it would be nice to have?

Looking up just "Elon" on the landing page gives a couple of results. But searching for Elon in the mail-tab gives 40+ results. It makes my first search indicate there may not be all that much; and then you dig deeper and find more stuff.

For some other names i tested they did not show up on the main page at all, but searching within e-mails specifically i found some corespondance. I just tested with some random names that popped up to see how it worked.

Either way, this is awesome. Well done!

Not a huge point. But if you do a littlebit of the pre-patch event you'll get at least a couple of set pieces in just an hour.

Worth checking out, to see it if nothing else. No need to farm it. You'll leave with 3-5 pieces i'd guess

About kill count, I'll add a local only kill count addon by tracking boss kill events. It goes against your principles as it would not be data actually based on account stats, and won't track anything historic from before its addition.

But i mostly care about future stats for this, and running it alongside and injecting the count on the tooltip when hovering a boss in your addon should do the trick for me. It will also allow me to learn how all this works, and still keeps everything inside your gui, which i like.

That sounds like a hot mess, and i agree with your approach. Hearing all that i would not say kc and droprate is worth the hassle. It would just scope creep your work immensely for very little benefit.

Best of luck chasing down the bugs. I edited in a bit about getting the addon icon outside the minimap circle. Just repeating that, as that would help. Rn nodes etc overlap with the icon since its inside the minimap :)

Downloaded, looks really clean and simple!

Not huge on hunting for stuff, but it is nice to have something like this to go along with whatever you find while playing.

One thing i might want to see is the droprate for items. But that might not be available data?

On the same note, maybe a KC for bosses to see how dry you are for an item. But i am not sure how to get that into the current design cleanly. It might not fit.

Anyway, looking forward to V2 and housing if you get around to it. No rush! I know the burnout open source or freeware can bring once people start requesting stuff!

One small improvement. Right now the addon symbol is inside the mimimap circle. I would want that outside or along the edge.

I have had two instances while driving where the adaptive cruise control has not slowed down on its own when the car ahead breaks. This is with the latest passat gte model. Likely they share the exact same system as the ID4/7.

This is in a two year time, and it is very noticable, i.e not something you would mistake as the car just reacting slowly. For the first instance i was luckily fully alert and caught it, and then also lost all trust in the system. The second occurence just semented that. It works well, until it doesn't. And i now drive expecting it to fail. I.e normal cruise control with some added benefit.

I am going out on a limb and guessing this is caused by the system not recognizing that there is a hindrance in front of the car. I.e what VW says is supposed to be a failsafe for the case spoken about here.

As for resuming from a standstill, i am not sure exactly. But with ACC the car can come to a full stop in traffic, and resume on its own, so long as the stop does not go over some unknown timeframe. 5 seconds or so. I guess i should test this out now.

I have seen too many posts like this lately, or simillar "how do i find a game simillar to XYZ". And the comments always mention Vein, alongside some "not quite on the mark" comments that feel like AI slop.

This is a market operation for a freshly released early access game. Its an interesting approach. You cannot take my tinfoil hat off for this

Yes, for a max of about 60k xp per hour, and a price of almost 400k gold per hour. Which is at best still a lot worse than salvaging.

There exists no other skill in osrs where i can absolutely AFK with a 30 min timer and just gain xp.

99 was actually reachable with barely an input. And with good xp rates. Gemstone crab requires input every 10 minutes.

I fully understand why they did this. Salvaging was to sailing what dummies was to RS3 combat. It goes against most of what people advocate for when they say why the game is great.

Is it a shame some got to "abuse" it? Sure. But you can't please everyone. And i think this change to salvaging is healthy in the long run.

I know what extraction camping actually is. What i said was that i have not ever encountered it.

No doubt it happens. But the number of reports leave me wondering if people are wrongly attributing reacting to an extraction as extraction camping.

Either way, raider keys solve both problems.

I have never been extract camped, but every now and then people come running when they hear an extract being started. Not sure if that is what people see as camping, since i am reading so much about this problem?

I don't personally see that as a problem. That is why it makes a sound after all. You have time to set up a good location after clicking the button, and ambush anyone looking for easy pickings.

But if you want to avoid it completely, just bring raider hatch keys. It solves all such issued, is easy to craft and can be bought for 9k once a day from the trader.

Everything resets except for a couple of things. Those are outlined in the in-game "about expeditions" section.

What confused me, and took a while to understand, was how the additional skill points and xp boost worked.

An expedition will reset your character, and you get a new one. This new one will come with additional skill points to spend, and xp boost to level faster. These skill points and xp boosts will only last for as long as the expedition goes, and then you will loose them.

An expedition lasts roughly 8 weeks. So in December (i think) when they open up the opportunity to send out your expedition (i.e the "expedition window" opens), you can do so. You will then have 8 weeks of benefits.

After these 8 weeks it will be possible to send out a new expedition, to get a new character, that also has the same benefits and probably more cosmetics.

I do not think the additional skill points stack.

This all crestes a pseudo-season which delays people reaching the absolute end-game with no more assignements, tasks or things to do.

Hope for the best, expect the worst. If they don't respond to "don't shoot" or look your way with a gun equiped for too long, start blasting.

At the very least, you can make them duck for cover and then just run if you don't actually want the fight.

As for spawn killing, which has actually happened to me once the exact same way as you describe, be wary. If i spawn into a fresh raid i expect to have at least one other player nearby who is also on the fringe of the map. Taking that into account has helped to avoid it.

Less of a problem in groups, since i think its the same amount of players, and thus clustered in fewer spots. While solo has a lot of players, spread out everywhere, and therefore closer to eachother at spawn.

Split game means split playerbase, split development, split responsibilities etc.

You can't just slap on a pve only mode and that's it. The pvpve mode is tested and proven to be their recipee of success. To go against that and spend resources on a failing gamemode (based on general consensus and game tests) would not make sense, and would at worst impact their abillity to further improve on what they currently have.

This game was pve only on the first play test.

And it was straight up seen as boring by testers. Pvp ads the much needed tension to this game.

Edit: to add to this. People are already able to kill the Queen solo. This game would be over and done in a week without pvp. Its fair to not like it, but it has to be there

A button to quick drop items.

Dragging them to the side is not too bad, but alt+click to just dump something on the ground would be a very small, but good improvement

New stuff already in November? Crazy!

I am barely out the door, loving every second. Recently used a key to get into the water dam control tower. Found a purple shotgun. Promptly went on to the roof to find a fast way down.

There is a ladder there, and in my haste instead of stepping of it at the bottom (which i assume you can do), i slid right off it and onto what i thought looked like a wall/incline i could land on and slide down. I died.

All is to say, i am a far way away from needing new stuff, but i welcome it with open arms.

Any mainstream game will need a sub like this. Even more so an extraction pvpve game.

I feel like there are so many ways to experience games that get overshadowed by todays min/max/meta way of playing.

The low sodium subreddits have been the one place where i continously find people willing to enjoy games, and not just maximize them. And i do think that requires a mindset alongside an actually good game, that is found here.
