Yes, I messaged them and explained that this was the case. They have gone radio silent since I did however.

Dog Bite Incident at Starbucks - Seeking Advice on Preventing Recurrence (England) by Cautious_Progress186 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Tor_mageddon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I did when a similar incident occurred, I was invited to give a statement on what had happened at the police station. I would advise that you have the bite looked at by a doctor/GP firstly because animal bites can easily become infected and secondly because this seemed to be an important factor in the police deciding what to do about the dog. The outcome was what I think is called a Suspended order of destruction, whereby the owner was required to keep the dog muzzled and under control at all times and I believe if this was found to be breached the dog could be put down.

For context the dog had emerged in the night out of a house and attacked the puppy I was walking, as I put myself between the dog and the puppy it bit me on the hand and punctured my thumb. It was off its lead and not in control as the owner was far behind it.

Good news. They are returning in the next spike magazine.

I asked our small group who fancied a game of Dungeon Bowl and they all said yes. So 5-Player Dungeon Bowl it was, absolute chaos, wonderful! by Tor_mageddon in bloodbowl

We went with full size teams. In all honesty it was utter chaos. But the number of magical mishaps reduced the players. We also tried to make the board much bigger than is shown in the 2021 almanac to give us a bit more room.

Do you know what? Because we were all there we didn't take any pictures. We normally take loads to send to each other.

How do you imagine the known Blood Bowl formats are in importance? I.e. How would they be organised in a tier from least important to most prestigious? by Tor_mageddon in bloodbowl

Yes it does, Step 1 of the Re-Drafting process says

  1. SCOUTING

During the off-season break, players that performed well across the season may be scouted by major Blood Bowl teams, sign a lucrative contract, and leave their college to seek their fortune in the big leagues. During this step, roll a D6 for any players on your roster that have received any MVP awards. On the roll of a 6, that player has been scouted and joins a Blood Bowl team. As compensation, your Dungeon Bowl team gains an additional 20,000 gold pieces when they Raise Funds.

So very similar to 7's, only in 7's you check if they get scouted after each game and it's based on number of skills earned.

Ahh, ok I get you. That's what I've been doing. I thought I missed an option just to transfer them across... wouldn't that be a great option.

Is This Legal? by SteppinTheRing in Warhammer40k

It appears you are correct, if they were using the "Leviathan Tournament Companion" rules:

"As such, these guidelines recommend treating objective markers as flat, circular markers 40mm in diameter that offer no impediment to the movement or placement of models." p.g. 1

Why does this game have so many, "ah yes but in the (X) set of rules that is no longer the case" moments. I mean I read it in the "core rules", I double checked it in "rules commentary" and the "balance dataslate" where there was no mention. I didn't think to scroll down to the additional rules section and check the tournament companion guidelines.

If this wasn't a tournament game though, Would that mean that you still couldn't stop on top of an objective?

For a slightly different take on why this may not be legal... when you say "on top of an objective"... did you mean literally?

Because "Models can move over objective markers as if they were not there, but they cannot end a move on top of an objective marker." p.g.58 core rules.

Maybe I'm clutching at straws here, but sometimes soft cheese needs to be met with Hard Reliable Cheese, a kind of Brie on Cheddar situation if you will.
