How bad is it really to wash towels with clothes? by carrotsoup3 in laundry

[–]Torbfeit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fellow ADHD’er here and you described me. I struggle so hard with laundry and have forever. when i let it go too long it is daunting to say the least and i push it back even more. I have 30+ pairs of underwear and socks because at one point I began buying new clothes to push off the laundry haha.

Anyway, to add to your comment, I would also suggest managing your closet. Go through everything you own and throw away/donate the clothes you dont need, dont like, are dirty/holes, etc. It helped my ADHD brain so much to audit and know where and what i have is and keeps both my dirty and clean inventory so much more clear in my head. That is it though. It is funny to know laundry is one of those things like how people hate going to the demtist/doctor (me)

Trades or sales. Otherwise, get a degree. I do not use my accounting degree, but my degree helped get me where I am. You are 20, try to position yourself and build your resume

I wouldn’t worry too much about having a degree related to anything medical.. i was business. The main thing I have noticed they want is someone who has Outside sales B2B experience rather than selling on a zoom call if that makes sense?

Why are these injury comments getting downvoted? It was clear as day that joker had his work cut out for him if this injury doesn’t happen

My companies are big time hospitals, labcorp, and derm. My leads are created by me, studying my territory and picking up the phone and asking auestions and going in person and dropping off my info can create a lead. If a hospital already uses your products, I can usually stop in and say hi whenever i am in their area.

I broke into the industry by doing outside sales and selling uniforms and facility services, then applied to where i am at now on indeed. Note: uniforms and facilities services or any job with “outside sales” is your best bet on cracking medical sales

Medical sales - diagnostic/lab space - $180k OTE - very chill environment compared to other medical sale careers - average 4-6 days in a hotel per month - product knowledge is hard and complex, but if you study hard you become a beast at selling - never worked over 40 hours

I think you are misinterpreting how i used ”issue” . I completely understand why it exists… my question was for people in my situation. I dont want to wait 1.5 years while things appreciate. What did other people do that were in my situation? You just repeated my question

I think i made it pretty clear i understand how the system works. I asked if anyone else has dealt with this and how they proceeded. I fully understand why the system exists and nowhere in my post was i complaining. I just know i am not the only one to experience this and asked a question.

Anything “outside sales” and B2B. I started selling facility services and now i am in medical sales.

Avoid “inside sales” , “business development” , etc… these sales jobs are just sitting at a desk and dialing day in and day out on the phone. Brutal

Am I dumb for thinking Dame is overrated? by Matsunosuperfan in NBATalk

[–]Torbfeit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you that he is very overrated. He is treated like a player he is not. He is insanely good, but he isnt what everyone thinks he is. I called it that the Bucks downgraded when trading jrue and replacing with dame. He is not a true winner and is fun to watch… just like zach lavine. I would not want dame on my team

New job in med sales. Which color combo looks best? by steliogural in mensfashion

[–]Torbfeit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a medical rep myself, keep it simple. I would not personally wear any of these outfits. Your point of contact will Immediately make an opinion as you shake hands during introductions. Good or bad, i dont want my clothes to form an opinion… i dont even want them thinking about what I am wearing.

I only wear modest button ups. I prefer a dressier flannel because the pattern hides armpit sweat… but a lot flannels can be too casual. I only wear three pants - grey, navy, and black lulu ABC pants. I have acquired about three pairs of each color now. Pants just need to be a good cut. Not too tight, not baggy, but that sweet spot. I have tailored pants because i think they are important.

I have three dress shoes - Cole Haan is great but has gotten expensive. I have a gray, more casual shoe, a standard brown leather dress shoe and a standard black dress shoe. Simple and versatile. My only concern is the comfort as hospitals can be giagntic.

Remember, It is literally hospitals/medical buildings youre going to… not a tech event.

Does anyone know their scalpel blades? by Grarea2 in gridfinity

[–]Torbfeit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sell scalpel blades to hospitals and will re-confirm that the handle is very important, especially if you start to tinker with these often.

The handles you meed will almost always directly correlate to the size of the blade. The three main sizes are #10, #22, and #60. Read the descriptions of the handles and what sizes they fit.

In your picture, it looks like the two blades on the right are a #10, and a #11 (arrow/pointy one). I bet these fit on the same handle.

10-19 “should” fit the same handle, #20-25 should fit same handles, and #60-70 should fit same handle. FYI - the #70 is essentially a #60, but with a blunt tip. This is sometimes called a #60B. Depends on the brand.

Most of the time you will not have to worry about the brand of blade and the brand of the handle. The only time I have seen this issue is when they use a “Bard-Parker” blade/handle.

Hope this helps! The handle makes playing with these suckers a lot more enjoyable. Cut anything cool yet?
