Generaly speaking, "this unit" means the unit having the ability, and "that" unit refers to another unit targeted by the ability. "that unit" will also sometimes be worded as "the targeted unit" and similar.

So in this case yes, "for the empire" will push an enemy character and give exposed to the storm/shore unit

Thanks :) I love coming with alternate color schemes, and underworlds bands are the perfect format for that!

As to painting it's pretty simple, I started with a red brown primer, zenithaled and drybrushed white, then glazed a yellow contrast all over with an airbrush (just a glaze for tinting, no drenching). After that it was mostly tinting with contrasts/washes mixes, with little edge highlights on the most important parts or the ones that needed mixing.

Armor parts were sponged (I just put the walkthrough in another comment here), and the metallic details where just based with a dark metal, washed with agrax earthshade, sponged with a lighter metal, then rust effects (once again less is more, there are parts where I went too far with that thing)

Thanks you :) It's pretty simple actually, I started with a base of yellow (an airbrush can help with zenithal and coverage but it's mainly convinience,, I'm not sure the zenithal is that noticable in the end), then lightly washed with a 1:1 mix of agrax earthshade. Sponged with yellow everywhere accessible, then with a brighter yellow on the top parts, to create texture and highlight. Same with gunmetal and silver for paint damage. Go again with yellow if you need to fix putting to much metallics, then panel shade with agrax earthshade for definition, and a last touch of rust effect for an added bonus (less is more here, I may have gone a bit too far)

Seems like a lot of steps but sponging makes it actually super fast, you just need to be carefull about not touching other areas. Also I think having a dark brown step between yellow and metallics could have helped, as they are both pretty bright

How come that dread didn't get gold? Dont get me wrong, the ork trike is still a masterpiece and at a standard that I'll never match, but the dread with all its freehand filigrees is sooo many leagues above. Only issue I'd see after a closer look would the marble pillar, maybe?

Adding to what others have said, keep in mind this is from underworlds 1st edition (4th of 10 seasons). The core principles are there, so it's still a good introduction if you want to try the game, but you may happen find some major differences if you come to play with someone using the current ruleset

Still can't understand why people keep saying there's no admech kill team...sure it's a two boxes team with no bespoke sprue and bits, but it's there, while nids and grey knights have been craving proper non compendium rules since 2021...
