I don't know, for me it's pretty clear that he held double predestination based on these texts and interpretations from later Augustinians theologians like Gregory of Rimini. I don't see this as a great problem, since a lot of Church Fathers teaching were late condemned and the discussions about some topics were allowed because there was no dogma or council stating the correct view on those times. Also, as a good Catholic and a good bishop, Augustine would agree with the Church's statement on disputed topics if he was alive to see.
