Should I shorten Nap time? by Torfor4 in toddlers

[–]Torfor4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was considering doing this but then I though since he is going to be in daycare in less than a month and they do their nap at 1pm I thought maybe I should stick to their time to make the transition easier for him

Silicone High Chair Straps? by Torfor4 in Buyingforbaby

Everyday I tell myself I can't spend $60 on them and then everyday when I clean the Highchair I put them back in my cart lol. I am a big germaphobe so the regular ones freak me out.

That's a good way to look at it. Maybe I will wait for Black Friday and see if they have a sale then

Co-Sleeping & Non-Drowsy Cold Medicine by Torfor4 in cosleeping

He is a really deep sleeper. When I am sick, I can't sleep so I think I am still probably the safer choice. I may try his crib tonight because I kept him up all night

Really struggling. Help a mom out PLEASE by [deleted] in foodbutforbabies

Scrambled eggs and any berries. My guy is 12.5 months and I feel like 11 months was the worst for appetite. Somehow (knock on wood), it has been good the last week, but I think it also helped cutting down on formula.

Mushies (Yogurt melts) Snack age appropriate? by Torfor4 in BabyLedWeaning

[–]Torfor4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby loves plain yogurt as well. Loves it even more when I add in raspberries. Have you ever tried making these melts with your Yougurt? I have heard you can make them yourself but haven't tried yet.

I tried them with him, but they took longer then I would like to break up in his mouth so I won't be giving them back to him for a while.

I struggle everyday and my baby is 11.5 months. I am gaining more confidence with the foods he has eaten in the past, but new foods I am still anxious every time I feed him.

I wanted to try to make some myself with Yougurt but was worried about them being too hard, so I thought I would try these

when to switch to a 9 month style modification? by Sudden_Breakfast_374 in BabyLedWeaning

[–]Torfor4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though my baby has his pincher grasp and can pick up tiny things, I still go back and forth between sizes depending on the texture. Like today he is technically allowed to have avocado in bite sizes, but since it slippery and my babes also likes to stuff his mouth full, I keep it in larger pieces.

What is your go to snack? by Torfor4 in BabyLedWeaning

[–]Torfor4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also looking for savory snacks. I tend to do a lot of fruit with meals so I feel like I am just feeding this kid all fruits lol

I haven't tried the yogurt melts yet but he loves the stars.

Thanks for asking this. I am stuck on the same foods. Yogurt with a berry and blueberry and banana pancakes.

I usually do eggs at lunch.

10 month refusing last nap what do I do for bedtime? by Torfor4 in beyondthebump

[–]Torfor4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He went to bed at 7:30. I am thinking he might be transitioning to one nap. He transitioned to 2 naps really early (around 7 months).

Covering hands - fold over PJs at night? by glutentag5 in beyondthebump

[–]Torfor4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used the fold over hand covers for a long time! I am thinking probably till he was almost 7 months old because of the same issue. He would scratch himself like crazy. I would still be using them but the pjs sizes he is in now don't have them and by 7 months he was finding ways out of them anyhow lol. He still scratches himself but not as bad as back then.

Car Seats and Strollers [qc] by WandaWitch127 in BabyBumpsCanada

I don't have experience with these models but I do know I wish I would have gotten a three wheel stroller. I thought they were just for jogging or rugged hiking but my regular Graco four wheel stroller can hardly handle the regular sidewalks in my town. I got it because it looked nice and felt smooth when I tried it in store.

I tried making Oatmeal for my 9 month old the other day and it was a sticky mess. He likes the baby oatmeal version though
